“We stopped for lunch at Helen's while visiting Machias. The restaurant is lovely, and everything still looks brand new. Our server was friendly, helpful, and attentive. I had a Caesar salad with chicken, and my son and husband had chicken quesadillas. Everything was very tasty, the portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. We weren't planning to get dessert, but the blueberry pie was just too tempting. It was delicious, so make sure you save room for it if you go to Helen's!“

“Outstanding food. Very reasonable wait, usually between 15 minutes to half an hour for a burger regardless of peak time. I order at least twice weekly and I've only had issues with my food not matching my order exactly once in like 6 months. The burgers are great, the Buffalo pizza has erased my drive for other pizzas and is the closest thing to Buffalo you'll get around here. The dark pizza place atmosphere is on point. Staff is friendly and personable. You won't find better around here, only different.“
