Every time I come up to Old Orchard Beach, my family and I stop here! It's no frills, but a solid, straightforward meal. Everything is reasonably priced with portions that will leave you full. Once you walk in, you feel like you've been transported back in time. Old school decor, your classic American restaurant. On the menu, they have an option for a 3-course meal. They have various options to choose from for a fixed price! It's great . My only complaint about it is that they used to have steamers as an option for an appetizer in the fixed 3 course meal, and it is no longer included. I decided on clam chowder, Caesar salad, and stuffed shrimp. I enjoyed the salad, and the stuffing for the shrimp was buttery and rich, but the clam chowder was terrible. No flavor at all and extremely watery broth. Would never get that again. Overall, enjoyable sit down, family restaurant, and will be back next year!

Had the mariners stew and it was tasty. Others had fried clams and a lobster roll and they were also tasty. Tables are a little cramped and the place was crowded. We had a 30 minute wait.

I had an older male waiter.I am an older single women. I was solo. I felt invisible at times by the waiter. A couple was sitting across from me. He walked up to their table and ignored me. a few times.Told me the haddock was hot after 5 minutes of it being served to me.I told him all set when he asked about dessert. He comes back 10 minutes later and asked if I wanted dessert. I told him again I am all set. I finally got my bill.

Well... clam chowder seemed to be missing clams, had plenty of potatoes, thin.. like soup and barely warmThe stuffed haddock was very good. The waiter thought he was a bad comedian.. he had 3 days left he mentioned several times. Was actually somewhat rude. He needs a better job, maybe where he doesnt have to work with the public.Haddock very good...Dont expect good clam chowder.. and don't ask for Douglas to be your waiter. Bon appetite !Parking: Walked so no issue !

The clam chowder is not thick, but most places in this area seem to serve this style. Our waitress was so nice and attentive. I had a lobster and my kids had fried shrimp and chicken tenders. They are reasonably priced and in a convenient location near the trolley pick up/ drop off area.

The lobster soup was extremely salty and the lobster was tough where I could not bite a piece off with out looking like a dog eating tough meat...very disappointed. The grilled chicken salad was also very salty. Paid the bill on the food we did not eat and went elsewhere-will never return!

Food is good, order a twin lazy lobster, and it was fresh and hot! Delicious! I also ordered calamari, this was just okay. The service was fast considering how busy they were and it was the last day being open for the season.

The service and the atmosphere was amazing! However, the food was terrible. I got watery pasta that had absolutely NO flavor. The only good thing were my daughters chicken strips.

Do not get seafood for the $30 3 course meal. I got food poisoning. The fish tasted funny but had already gone down the hatch. Hour later bad things happened. True story. Stay away. Or at least don't get the fish.

I wish I can rate ZERO STARS, they gave me a HADDOCK FISH AND CHIPS, which absolutely taste like bland RUBBER Sh*t! baked in the shape of a fish! Truly another terrifying and utterly dangerous food business that need to be SHUT DOWN for good.

After coming to OOB for over 50 years we finally tried this place. I know how could that be? It was awesome . I ordered the lobster cocktail It was a decent portion done perfectly . My husband ordered a salad that was very fresh. For entrees we for the lasagna and the stuffed haddock both were excellent. We sat at a high top at the bar and the bartender was personable and attentive. I highly recommend this place it's overlooked by many

Again, one of our favorite spots to eat. Brought some new visitors with us and they absolutely loved their dinner. Both ordered. The large lobster rolls they were completely filled sub/ hoagie size rolls. With french fries, but you could take a different side if you want it. We also had steamers a huge portion as an appetizer was plenty for a table of five. We also had two asparagus tarts. If you're lucky enough to try one you'll ask for it every time you return they sell out very fast and made fresh daily. Just put my order in for the end of the season. They freeze well. I'll be having them on Thanksgiving....lol. Had Doug as our waiter he is the best, that's all I can say very accommodating you always feel like you're at home. This place has a very welcoming atmosphere. We have been here many times with our two year old granddaughter, crayons, and papers to Color, large children's, menu, children are always welcome here. We also had a baked haddock dine, fettuccine Alfredo, and an order of fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli. Chicken is available if you want it. Cocktails delicious. This restaurant truly works as a team, To the person that seats you, the one who takes a drink order, or, the one who delivers your meal, and your waiter. Everything else seems to run smoothly for them. Definitely check out this restaurant if you're in the area. Also the bathrooms are very clean.

Had the $30 3 course meal and wife had lobster roll. Food was very good. About the same price as the overpriced street food at the end of the pier with the nice view. Next year we will be back. Wish I knew our servers name, she was awesome and the rest of the staff was on point.
