I have walked past this place dozens of times on my numerous trips to OOb. My youngest found this online when searching for a good burger... They do not take reservations, it is small inside so best to go during an off time. We were seated upstairs. Waitress and service was top notch. Drinks were great and the food was outstanding. If you want a sit down dinner this is in my opinion the best option on the pier.

We had a great meal the other night. Started with Mussels to share and then I had the Pan Seared Cod. Husband had the Clam Chowder and a Lobster BLT.

Went there for breakfast yesterday for the last day of the season for serving breakfast. The place was very busy, but service was timely and outstanding and the food was excellent. Kenzie the bartender is excellent at her craft and handled the very busy bar with professionalism and class. Whatever she makes, she deserves a raise in pay.

The burger I got was delicious, and our server was great! The only downside were the fries, they weren’t salted at all and just tasted kinda mid. Everything else was amazing though!

This place is the epitome of, "Don't judge a book by its cover." A small hole in the wall bar in the downtown area of Old Orchard Beach serving up amazing quality dishes! I have been going here with my family for years. On my most recent visit, I went with the scallop carbonara. The scallops were seared on the outside and juicy on the inside. The pasta was dressed in a delicious sauce, topped with freshly grated cheese, edamame, and crispy bacon. The portion was a perfect amount of pasta where you didn't feel too full. A few years back, I had their Peruvian chicken with the green sauce, and I haven't stopped thinking about it! I hope one day, they will bring it back on the menu because it was SOO GOOD!! Do yourself a favor and put Big Daddy's on your list when you go to Old Orchard Beach!!

Stopped at this place for an early dinner as my mom and I were very hungry. They sat us down right away and our waitress was nice and recommended the warm lobster roll over the cold one and she didn’t let me down! Even though the food was delicious, it’s pricey for my lobster roll was $35 and my mom’s hamburger was $21. I could’ve just ordered a lobster roll on the pier for $15 but you get what you pay for! The atmosphere of the restaurant is cute and they have some seating upstairs too. I would suggest this place to anyone who is looking for quick service and good food but isn’t worrying about prices!

Always have loved this place since I ate there for the first time in 2020. Bummed out that the Bloody Mary no longer has the shrimp, crab, and lobster in it, but it's still the best we've ever had!! There were only 2 downers we've experienced there in all these years, and they both happened on the same trip. Ordered dinner and would not substitute the mashed potatoes with rice (not a big deal) and ordered medium med- rare in the steak. Came out med-well. Typically wouldn't be an issue, but when the server asked how the food was, and with prices being so high, we decided to kindly respond that it was overcooked. The server was a kind woman who offered a resolution after we told her we did not want to be compensated with anything. As she walked away to get a new steak, this other server (let's just say she's unnaturally energetic) turned around and invaded my significant other's personal space (like shoulder touching shoulder a few inches from his face kind of close), and proceeds to invite herself into the issue at hand (that was being handled very well by our server). She then proceeds to start "educating" us on med-well and med-rare, basically trying to argue with us. We pointed out how my other half was a retired 5-star chef and knows the difference. She wouldn't stop though, she was pushing to argue. So, the fact that we were there on a romantic date with each other and not have a philosophical debate on what a med-rare steak is, he appropriately said "I want you to leave our table". She kept going on and on, pointing out that she's our servers boss so on and so forth., but want leaving us alone as requested. So again, he told her to just leave our table and walk away and tend to her own. She finally walked away and went directly to the kitchen. A minute or 2 later the "med-rare" steak came out. It was rare, barely heated, and still cold on the inside. Quite sure that was her revenge as she made it a point to glance over for the rest of the evening and giggle. Before we left, when my other half went to the restroom she came over to grab a plate and snidly asked if we liked the steak.Hopefully, our original server does not pick up on her habits, inside and outside for all that's worth. Other than that experience, an amazing restaurant with delicious food (risotto is cooked perfectly every time!). Will definitely be back!!

I love this spot! Ignore the other reviews about the staff, everyone here was so kind. The inside is kind of small so if you don't go at the right time expect a wait! The food was delicious. We had a lobster roll and a burger. The lobster roll was the best one I'd had all season (Maine duh) and the burger tasted like it was fresh off the grill. Our waitress was the best she was so sweet to my daughter :) we will be back!!!

Food was very well prepared, and back of the house crushed it. The reason for 3 stars was the service. It took 15 min from the time we were seated for a waitress to greet us, another 15 min for drinks, and this continued. It was a Sunday, fairly busy, but not like I went on a Fri night. Back of the house was the strongest aspect of this restaurant.

Were there for 08/14 dinner. I don’t remember our waitress’ name but she was just terrific! Excellent service and food; girlfriend got the Mediterranean pasta, I got the original burger, very, very good! It is a small place, so don’t be discouraged if you have to wait, it’s worth it.
