Stopped by as we ended up in the area and it was open, wasn't really expecting much. Had some of their crab rangoon dip, which really hit the spot, and a spinach artichoke pizza with crab. The pizza was good, not incredible or anything but decent. The dip was surprisingly exceptional. The server here was very attentive and super nice, probably one of the best I had while in Maine.

Went in with my wife for the twin lobsters special. Had the rum punch - very well made and tasty. The lobsters not so much. 2 of the lobsters were obviously previously cooked and frozen. Then thawed, reheated and served. Lobsters did not have any taste as one would expect in OOB. Also 1 out of 2 of the lobsters meat were falling apart and were previously frozen. Had to add salt to the butter to get them to taste right. Not again.....

Major pepper taste. Could not taste the scallops. Mostly all fries. Returned it. Major diarrhea from just eating one. Busy place. Probably bc it was a Saturday. Our poor waitress was having a hard time getting 7 of us Our food from the kitchen. The salads were strange. menu was confusing. Definitely jumping.

We had a good time at Jumpin' Jakes in Old Orchard Beach. We got dinner and drinks here plus played some trivia. I thought the food was good, but service was lacking; not for lack of effort though. The staff was really busy at the time of our visit and I think our poor server just got overwhelmed. It didn't help that we had a group of eight with various orders and preferences. This appeared to be a popular local hangout. This is a low-key, humble, casual restaurant and bar. They had a pool table, a couple dart boards and other games, a bar with TVs to watch sports, and a fairly spacious patio with an outdoor bar too (the outdoor bar wasn't in use during our visit). The place was well-worn and showing its age. If you're visiting from out of town like we were, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but it suited our needs for a quick and easy dinner and drinks out, close to our Airbnb in Scarborough. $24.95 twin lobster was advertised on the street sign. A couple folks in our group ordered that and it looked fresh and delicious. I didn't try any because I'm allergic to lobster. Instead, I had the Blackened Haddock dinner for $26.95. It consisted of a pan-seared haddock filet with mild house blackening seasoning, topped with "fresh" chopped pineapple cucumber salad. The entree came with two sides. I chose a Garden Salad and the "Vegetable of the Day." I asked what the Vegetable of the Day was and was told Green Beans; it was actually Broccoli (as I discovered when my plate hit the table). Everything was good. Four out of five stars for the food. The Haddock tasted fresh and was nicely cooked. The chopped pineapple cucumber salad on top was indeed "fresh" as the menu stated. I love salads and really enjoyed the simple Garden Salad. The portion size was generous. The salad included fresh spring mix, cucumber, shredded carrots, red onion, grape tomatoes, and crunchy croutons. I got mine with ranch dressing. Just a solid side salad. Overall, the Blackened Haddock entree was filling and satisfying. Others in our group got things like the Fried Haddock Bites special ($14.95), Clam Chowder ($7.50 cup, $9.95 bowl), burgers ($14.95 to $18.95 each depending on size and cheese), and more. Jake's serves various other seafood and pizza too. We got several drinks, mostly beer and some cocktails (e.g., Moscow Mule). I had a Diet Pepsi. I got the impression that everyone in our group liked their food and drink OK. The trivia was fun, but I'm not sure how reliable and fair it was. Like every other place, I know they had an outside guy run it, but we were lightning quick (instant) on some answers and of those, only one, maybe two, registered a win. I don't know if the other teams were just that good or if the tablet devices and/or wireless network were having issues. Regardless, our team, the Maine Men, had fun. There were about a dozen teams. Good turnout. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and welcoming -- the hostess, our primary server, and other servers/workers.

Got in and I wasn't decided on what to eat and the waitress told me the pizza was bogo free so that decided for me! There were also having some bingo thing starting up and she went over and got the info and sent the guy over for us to play too. The food was good, the game was fun, and just overall had a good time! Now I just wished we had picked a better campground then the one right next door (they sucked). Thanks for giving us a good time!

Worst food, took over a hour to get our meal. I got a salad that was hot and wilted. The only thing that saved them is Jake took the salad cost off our bill. My husband and bestie got scallops that they were not happy with. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. ?

We took our family of six to dinner here. We sat outside, and we got a little buggy. Otherwise, the food was good and the prices were reasonable.

The service was amazing but sadly the food was not good the chicken strips where not very good .The prices are not worth the food.If you are going to go just for drinksThen it's perfect for that .But not going back for foodThe waitress for Awesome and so friendly so that was a plus .And made it hard to tell her how the food was .It's not her fault. But go for the Bar for sure sir out side and enjoy the dayParking: When not peek of the summer seasonPlenty of parking .But it's in old orchardIt's normal to have a hard time at times finding parking . It's a vacation place.

Took over a half hour to get our first drink. We never got our appetizer. Took an hour and a half for the food. In an hour and a half we were only able to get two rounds. Food wasn’t bad, but I wouldnt go back. The party of 4 behind us left because they were sick of waiting for their food.

Four reasons to avoid this place. First up, they either dont have AC or dont use it. The day we went there was a heat advisory. Probably a good time to use AC, but nope, not here. Second, while the lobster bisque was good, the scallops were not. Food was mediocre at best. Third the cocktails were not great. I would recommend stock premixed bottle cocktails as that would be better. The service was so slowwwwwwwww. I mean 1+ hours. They ended up bringing the food out one at a time. The pizza with no cheese included a spinach topping that was premixed with cheese. That the server didnt realize until after it was made. My meal was the last to come out and it was a lobster roll, which takes 5 minutes or less to make.
