Food fantastic ‼️ Service impeccable‼️ atmosphere outstanding‼️My wife and daughter had fresh lobster and I had haddock, all of which were just incredibly good. The dessert menu is good as the dinner menu…….. The pumpkin and blueberry cheesecake was ‘to die for’……The Landmark Restaurant is an excellent example white tablecloth fine dining at its best……in Old Orchard Beach or ,in fact, the entire state of Maine‼️This restaurant is a must visit when you are in the area.

Cool old house that has been partially converted into a restaurant. The feel inside makes you think that you need to dress up, however the staff treated every one alike, regardless of attire. They have some really nice house cocktails. The Maine Blueberry one was my favorite.Of course they have lobster. I'm trying to convince my friend to eat one. He's looking forward to it, but said it was good to watch someone else eat one first so he would know how (I may still be messing up the proper consumption of lobster bc I'm a 90s city kid, but I do get as much meat as possible out of one. Perhaps I'm trending in the right direction). I got the lobster and my friend got the pretzel breaded fish, which was also amazing.Great bread that is freshly made. Nice wine list. Friendly staff. Cool historical site. Not much else a person could want!

This is a boomer restaurant. My mahi mahi was sad and overcooked. Barely any fruit. No sauce. Drab. Barely edible. I got dessert so I wouldnt leave hungry but the strawberry shortcake was also bad! Shortcake part was super stale. Also they judged me for eating alone. Look I get that you would make more in tips with more people in chairs but come on. There's no rule against taking yourself out to dinner and that was rude. I know they are trying. The atmosphere is cute. And maybe it was good 8 years ago. But this restaurant has gone stale.

We stopped here while on vacation with our kids. This place wasn't bad, but didn't really seem too kid friendly. We didn't know that. It came recommended by someone who works in OOB. The salmon wasn't bad, but the veggies were not cooked all the way. The Tuscan chicken was very plain and the tomatoes were not roasted like expected. The only flavor it has was in the sauce. It just wasn't our favorite. The waitress wasn't as friendly. The hostess greeted us and was very nice, but beyond that I wouldn't recommend this place for families. We tried to hand the waitress our wine menu because let's face it, it was in our way and we had 3 kids sitting with us. She said no, it stayed at the table. The vibe here just isn't as family friendly for being a place right there by the beach. Not our favorite. It was good once, but we won't be back. If you're a couple and don't have kids with you or they're older, go for it. We heard the duck was amazing, but did not try it ourselves.

Horrible service! The steamers weren’t cooked! Sandy AF! Lobster was over- cooked as well! 1 hour before we even got our food!! Once we complained about the steamers… the service got even worse!! For a $350 bill …. It sucked!!! Will never recommend!!! My first & last time!!!

Lovely restaurant in Old Orchard Beach, on the main street in an old Victorian House. Fine dining in an unlikely spot. If you want something different than a Lobster/chowder shack, you can't go wrong here. Nice menu, food was very good and service was excellent.

This was our first visit to Landmark. I can’t say enough good things about this place. The people working here are so personable and friendly. The waitress was wonderful and we even got to talk to the owner at the end of the night. They treat you like family here. Of course the best part was the food! I had a Caesar salad to start and it was served ice cold, delicious and not overly dressed. Bread came out hot and crispy. Good attention to detail. My main entree I ordered was the coconut Mahi Mahi. It was cooked to perfection with perfectly toasted coconut on the outside and a creamy coconut sauce to die for! We split the pumpkin cheesecake for dessert and wished we had ordered two! So delicious! We will definitely be back. Such an enjoyable night! Thank you Landmark!

Live in the area, first time. A fine dining experience. Best meal, value and atmosphere in these Covid times. Will visit again in the future.

Always a great experience . The area was very busy as a lot of restaurantshave closed for the season. We have been coming here for a few years andlove the place. Victorian home and well decorated. Owner is so pleasant and always goes above board. We had to wait 35 minutes tonight. We knew that as we got there at peak time. Had a wonderful meal. I had the duckwhich is so good my wife had a steak. A couple days ago we had the mahi mahi and the salmon. outstanding food. We just love the place. In the summer we ate outside and it was also wonderful. We are here for a week an we will be back at the Landmark again on Sunday night,

I haven’t been to the Landmark Inn for about 15 years and I have to say I was not disappointed. While other restaurants in the southern Maine area are struggling with finding employees and conducting business resulting in extremely long waits and subpar service, the Landmark and their staff ushered us right into their very busy Sunday night. Our server was top notch, the atmosphere was great and the food was excellent. Thank you all!!

Tried to come here for our anniversary while in town, called to make a reservation, we’re told it was first come first serve. Showed up for dinner, took 15 minutes before someone deigned to acknowledge us and just briskly said ‘we’re on a wait’, we were the only two people waiting so we spoke to the other hostess who said they couldn’t seat us till after 8 (1.5 hours later). Overall rude staff, older clientele in a crusty setting like nana’s house. Just drive the 20 minutes to Portland for much better options.

If you’re new to trying Maine lobster and regional cuisine, THIS is the place to experience it for the first time. I’m not a big fan of seafood, growing up 2000 miles from the coast, but what this restaurant does with lobster stew…whew! Makes me want to move here! Seriously, one of the best meals of my life.
