Amazing street corn on the cob. Mac n cheese was creamy an cooked perfect. Tacos are authentic. They use beef brisket which was amazing. Not dried out tender an juicy great flavor. Staff was extremely friendly an very pleasant.

We love the nachos here, they're a meal themselves. My husband and daughter also love the quesadillas and my favorite are the chicken tinga tacos. The service is always quick and efficient. When we visit we prefer to sit outside and people watch, but they have plenty of seating inside as well. The place is nothing fancy, but the perfect casual stop for lunch or dinner after a day on the beach.

Disgustingly DIRTY! The walls, the floor as far into the kitchen as I could see were extremely dirty. The bathroom was beyond GROSS!! We had already ordered an app, and I wasn't really able to eat after seeing the inside of this place.

I wouldn't recommend. The food was served cold, had the pulled pork, ribs, chicken. The sauce is awful. Cornbread no flavor and served hard. The bill was $80.00 very overpriced. Small servings. Mac n cheese was awful.

If there were ZERO stars I’d give that in every category. We went to cool off mid afternoon to try their “ happy hour “. First sign we should’ve left, no air conditioning. There was an enormous fan in the far back they had on to try to cool the entire place. It succeeded in blowing everything off our table….. Waitress took her sweet time coming to us even though there were only a few tables. Ordered drinks, mediocre at best and so over salted almost undrinkable. We ordered the $5 tacos as we were going to dinner shortly thereafter. DONT WASTE your $$$$! Tacos came ….. after long wait…. Appr 3 inches in size. Not only the size but 3 at our table each ordered 2…… a paper plate was put in front of 2 people. The third received nothing. We looked at waitress who proceeded to tell us that “ his are on her plate, and her plate”!!!!! They each had to give him 1 of their 3 inch taco offffff their paper plate! Outside of not being large enough to even count as a child taco , they were disgusting. Salsa and chips were store bought garbage. Happy hour cost $202! Awful food, awful service, dirty “ restaurant “ , filthy bathrooms. We never write reviews but we hope to save others from wasting their hard earned money. Go up the coast to York, Wells, and Ogunquit and get some delicious Maine dining!

First time and last time here . Overpriced food. Don't waste your money. Brisket is good but no for the price. I also ordered tacos: horrible taste and very expensive.

Location middle of orchard beach, which was a plus, decided to visit because there was a lot of people dining in. Sat at the bar. Drinks meh, it was happy hour. So I just felt as they just made the drink really fast and didn't care to put much effort in making a good margarita. The nachos was so big. Couldn't finish it, it can easily be shared amongst 4 people. Food wasn't up to par. I mean when you're drinking and just want something to much on I just then it's okay. But o wouldn't give it another go. Sorry no sorry

Ordered a spicy margarita, but they were out of jalapeño infused tequila so they gave me a muddled pickled jalapeño marg to substitute. Not great. We ordered the “fresh” guacamole, which had no substance to to it. Bland, no cilantro, tomato, or jalapeño, and basically just whipped avocado. We did ask for a side of jalapeños to salvage it, but it took 35 minutes to get those, they were pickled, and then realized the chips were stale. We laughed and decided not to order anything else, and didn’t eat it, but did let our server know just so she knew for future customers. Service was slow, food and drinks were mediocre, would not recommend, unfortunately!

If zero stars was on here I would put that i want with my family of seven and the staff was nice, I had ribs, lime rice and fries the rice wasn’t cooked right and the ribs were dosed with bbq sauce and for some reason they where spicy ribs aren’t supposed to be spicy everyone else’s food wasn’t good and no one was happy with the food they only had four options for tacos and it’s a Mexican restaurant it was more bbq food then anything food was sobered on paper plates and solo cups the food was over 300 dollars plus tip. I’m very disappointed

If I could rate lower I would. Food was terrible. Very expensive. Wait staff was ok. Our complaints went on deaf ears. Went there two years ago and food was great. What the $&@? Happened? Very disappointed was definitely the poorest quality food I've ever had in an establishment. Don't waste your time or money eating here.

We were expecting Mexican but it was more of a sandwiches and French fries vibe. They had maybe 3-4 protein options, then you get a choice of taco or roll, rice or French fries.Rice flavor was strange but sounded good from the menu. We wanted something other than pizza or fried food like everywhere else, but it was odd flavors trying to be a Mexican BBQ. If you’re not a BBQ sauce person, don’t come here. Also, I ordered a Cadillac margarita, which is a regular margarita with gran marnier topper.. they doubled the price and it was not delicious or worth it.

Service was slow despite being not busy at the time. Waitress didn’t check on us for more drinks. Margarita came in a red solo cup. Chips and salsa tasted like it was store bought and chips from a bag. Plastic cutlery and plates used. Me and two other family members got five dollar tacos for happy hour ( which included two tacos) two of us got paper plates with three each and were told by the waitress my fathers two were on our plates so we had to take two off of both of ours together to give to him ( he didn’t get his own plate.) Portion was small and not close to authentic Mexican in any way. My nephews nachos were embarrassing and looked microwaved. Would never go back and don’t recommend. Save your money!

Tequila Frogs is located in the heart of old orchard beach and is the only " Mexican " restaurant in that area. I have visited this restaurant twice in the past two years. The first time we just had drinks salsa and chips. The second time we had dinner and drinks. For dinner I had a brisket burrito which was 20$, the size of the burrito was no bigger than the palm of your hand and lacked flavor . In my opinion Taco Bell's burritos are better and way bigger. Husband got pulled pork sandwich which was dry it came with a side he chose French fries. The service was HORRIBLE she brought ketchup to table ten min after we started eating and by then there was no point on having ketchup. The bathroom is a whole different issue can we say DISGUSTING fecal matter all over one of the woman's toilet seat, I informed management which in my opinion management should not have to be told by a customer as to how disgusting the bathroom is management should do their job and check bathrooms once in while. I have given this business two opportunities to see if they stepped up their game and sadly they have not. I would not recommend Tequila Frogs and I obviously will not go back.

Plastic cutery, plates and even cup for the margarita I ordered. Slow service despite being not busy atall. Waitress didn't check on us. Three of us ordered the two five dollar tacos. Six came on two plates (three and three) and we were told we had to take two off of them for the third person ( he didn't get his own plate). Food not authentic atall and chips and salsa definitely was store bought and out of a bag. Don't waste your money!! This place could be on the show kitchen nightmares lol.

I've been coming to OOB for years and years and this was my first time trying out Tequila Frogs. Now that I'm a vegetarian (and I don't enjoy seafood) it's a little more difficult to choose places to eat in OOB. Tequila Frogs menu is half Mexican food and half BBQ, so I thought I'd be able to find something on the menu. The Mexican food was simply not good, and I would not come back here. I ordered the guacamole burrito. It said it comes with pico but I promise there was no pico in that burrito. I also asked if they could add peppers and onions to the burrito. They said they had no peppers but would put onions, but they did not. It was rice beans and guac. Very mushy, bland, not very filling, not good. On the other hand, my family loved the BBQ ribs they ordered. So, maybe if you come here only for the BBQ half of the menu, then it's worth it. Meaning, there is nothing here for vegetarians or vegans. They have a big patio for sitting outside, as well as a lot of indoor seating and a bar. I love being able to sit outside and people watch at the pier. The music was so loud that it was hard to hold conversations though. Also the women's bathroom was out of soap. Overall a bit disappointing.
