Kanu has very good food in general, and a bare few gluten free options, although it would be nice to have more info about other entrees being able to be modified to be gluten-free. Some items are over-priced, latte being one of them, drinks above average cost. The rooftop brunch dining was a great choice and the weather cooperated, but inexplicably, the big flame heaters at the ends of the tables were on and then off after being asked to turn them off, and then back on again....read full review
Salmon was fantastic! Probably one of the best I've had. The appetizers were lacking seasoning. In particular the meatballs were very bland. Also the crab cakes were bland and not very flavorful. I did enjoy the restaurant although it's hard to find. There's no sign on the building and if you don't see the entry door (which is the only place the name is posted) it's easy to drive right past it.
