The beer was awesome

The staff is friendly, they have a lot of taps (inside), and the beer garden is great. It's big so social distancing is easy. It was nice to feel safe going out to grab food and a draft beer.

The Sea dog in Bangor has better beer, service and overall atmosphere!

Nice little storefront in the heart of the downtown area. Limited craft beer selection but they brew some outstanding beers. Will definitely pay them another visit on my next trip!

We went here with two kids (age 5 and 12). The atmosphere was fun and lively. We didn’t realize that kids ate for free on Thursday, and had already eaten, so I cannot comment on their food. The beer was alright. It has potential, but doesn’t seem as though it has reached peak yet in terms of overall quality beer. They had a lot other breweries beers and only seven of their own. And of those seven it was heavy on the IPA’s, so if you are not a fan of the IPA (like myself), the choice was slim. My husband and I wanted to do flights. However, I did not because you can only do flights of their own brews, and like I said...not an IPA drinker. I did have some of my husband’s though (and in fairness, the above review on the beer was mostly from my husband as he likes IPAs, and sampled their beer more than I did). Fun stop though and would recommend if looking for some place fun and new.

This place has a lot of promise, but hasn’t yet reached to its potential. First off, it was nearly impossible for our not local family to find and neither our group’s iPhones nor Androids could locate it based on its advertised address. The sign is low and barely visible, too. I’m told the indoor space has been converted from a former state police mechanic garage. Thus, it is quite large with concrete floors and walls and super high ceilings. Long communal indoor picnic tables send a friendly vibe, but the din created by close dining and zero acoustic absorption, makes hearing nearly impossible. Drinks and food are ordered at a counter in the back. There are many offerings of beer and a few ciders, but I had the misfortune of ordering the worst cider I’ve ever had. I like a less sweet drink and what I got WAS less sweet—it was like sucking on a sour lemon! The food is standard pub fare and they are trying to offer variety (saw some quinoa, kale, and tofu choices), but our group of 15 (parts of 5 families, 14-75 in age) had bad luck with getting what we ordered. The food comes out across the room from the order counter and someone shouts out order numbers in the din (pretty impossible to hear!). There are older video games around (Ms. Pac-Man, anyone?) and a nerf ping pong table was set up by our eating area. There are many picnic tables and a few unique wooden tables/metal mesh box chairs set up outside on an area of fenced off parking lot, which was better acoustically until the savage black fly eating hour! We wrapped up our family dinner out at that moment!

Great beer, friendly people. The taps are always rotating, too, so there's always something new to try!

We visited Orono Brewing while on vacation in Maine. It was great for us as we had two teenagers that enjoyed playing video games and hanging outside on their rather large dining area. There was plenty to keep everyone entertained while Mom and Dad drank a beer. The beer is just okay. The hubby is a beer snob so a little picky when it comes to craft brews. The food menu however is great. There is plenty to choose from and everything is made to order. I recommend the pork tacos. You won't be disappointed in this place. There is something for everyone.

Great selection as always, good vibe and feel to the place with lots to do and the weather cooperated too!

The OBC has an excellent brewer producing an array of fabulous regular and seasonal beers. The facility was disappointing- a big, noisy warehouse that was not comfortable or welcoming. I’ll go back to fill a growler, but not to drink or eat.

Eat inside or outside. If you’re expecting to be waited on, this is an a place for you. Walk up to the bar, or do your food and drink. Enjoy your drink at one of the long tables or couples tables while you wait to be buzzed to pick up your food. There is it a great variety of food, pretty typical barfood, but they are homemade brew is excellent. My husband and I have been twice, and I expect will go back again sometime. Being a college town, there are a number of college students as well as Families who bring small children.

Good beer, with a nice food menu.

Really nice place with very friendly folks. I had a white stout an IPA and a brown ale, my personal favorite. They have pub food and self serve water tap. Warming wood burning stove makes the place cozy. Definitely worth a visit.

Very cool place. Has been busy almost every time I have gone in since opening, but there is usually plenty of space. Staff is super friendly and give good recommendations. Beer is great, about the same price as anywhere else for craft beer. Only complaint is that the food portions are small and a little expensive. That said, the food tasted good and the service was decent.

This is a great brewery! It's small, but has a cozy feel with friendly service. I enjoyed playing connect four with my bestie and took some fierce tiger pale ale with me to go. I would definitely go back and look forward even more to checking out the new location/beers.
