I would have given Maurice 3 stars, but my husband said 4. On the plus side: very nice and efficient waitstaff, very reasonable prices, server brought us a pitcher of ice water on request (it's amazing how many restaurants refuse this simple request!), husband's dinner special (haddock with feta, artichoke hearts, and olives) was very good, temperature was comfortable (not the unfortunately frequent frigid cold AC), and the tables were spaced a good distance apart, making it easy...read full review
Amazing food, great ambiance, very attentive service. Best escargot I’ve ever eaten by a mile, and among the best scallops if not the very best. Wicked creme brûlée! & so reasonably priced!!!! If my dad & I had the same entrees/wine in Houston, it’d have been over $250 rather than under $100. I was very lucky to get a reservation at short notice, extremely happy with everything. We went with a large group. Our waitress was excellent! She was attentive and efficient. She made my drink exactly how I asked her to. (Which never happens.) The food was good. My food didn't come out hot enough but was all delivered at the same time and I enjoyed it. All in all, I would definitely recommend the restaurant Maurice!
