We loved Bite Into Maine! The menu was clear, the ordering process was simple, and the food was delicious! We tried both Maine style and CT style, both were awesome. I was so grateful that they offer gluten free rolls! They asked whether I was sensitive or allergic, they can accommodate both. They have some great-looking merch available, too. If you’re stopping by Allagash for a beer, I definitely recommend a lobster roll to go with it!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

I recently was in Portland for a wedding and did my own version of a lobster roll tour. It was a bit over the top but I consumed 6 rolls from 6 unique places in 3 days. I am very pleased to admit that Bite into Maine was in my top 2. I asked the staff member what her favorite was. The Maine (may and chives) is the most common but the staff favorite was the Picnic (coleslaw, butter & celery). I had to go with the staff fav because they know what’s up. This thing was amazing. The coleslaw was an excellent touch. They serve flights and I am so mad I didn’t go with that because I bet the other 2 flavors were incredible.

Fantastic lobster rolls and an incredibly convenient option for those visiting Allagash Brewing. I would definitely get the flight of rolls with different toppings again. Great food truck experience.

We were so surprised because we didn’t realize this food truck was located at the Allagash Brewery! We were also surprised that they had gluten free lobster roll buns. The lobster was fresh and delicious and the location is perfect if you are traveling back down Route 95.

We came all the way from Texas for some real deal Maine lobster rolls and this place did not disappoint! I loved that they offer a “flight” of all three rolls so we could get a taste of every version.

Very good lobster rolls. All three flavors - Maine, picnic, Connecticut - were tasty. Order a "flight" of three mini rolls instead of a full roll if you want to try all three.

Amazing lobster flight washed down with an Allagash pint! The lobster tasted very fresh. Top notch

Best lobster rolls we had all week in Maine! The lobster roll flight they offer is such a great idea. They were very accommodating of my mom’s shellfish allergy, too, when preparing her brat, which we are very grateful for. Thanks for a great lunch!

People only eat bugs if they are starving. Once they have the means to do so, they stop eating them and begin eating a proper meat diet. As a previous commenter stated, chitin is deleterious to your health. The WEF crowd is behind this stuff, but do you really believe they will be partaking in this blankety-blank culinary treat?

Cricket flour is hazardous to humans-Chritin cannot be digested by humans but actual foods is listed in ingredients - putting bugs in our food now? This is a disgrace!

This was especially good after a few beers from all the breweries nearby. I had the burger, it was very good. I was told the lobster rolls were also very good.

Bite into Maine is a lobster roll concept with a few locations throughout Maine. They specialize in lobster but offer a few other things for those who don't like seafood or are vegetarian such as burgers, caprese sandwiches, pretzels with cheese and even some dessert! We chose this place in particular because they have a lobster flight where you can try three different styles of lobster rolls on one place! The verdict? Delicious! Service is counter service from a food trailer and the atmosphere is great as this location is right next to Allagash Brewing Company which is a popular and well known brewery in Maine. You can get lobster roll and a beer in the same area and enjoy the wonderful space this place has to offer. Just know that you have to be 21+ to access this location because it's located at a brewery and they check your ID before you go inside. Definitely recommend! As I said, my wife and I decided to share the 6oz flight of lobster rolls which came in half sizes of each. The three types were "Maine" style which had mayo and chives, "Connecticut" style, which was just lobster and butter, and "Picnic" style which had coleslaw, butter and celery salt. We also ordered two pretzels with beer cheese and two Maine Root Co. sodas. To start, when we ordered our lobster rolls, they were met with plenty of drawn butter poured overtop before we got it on our hands. This was great. The lady handing me the food says some people freak out over getting too much butter because of how they do things there so if you're not one to have lots of butter on your rolls, ask for it on the side. There was a good amount of lobster in each roll and they were all really good. My favorite has probably got to be Connecticut style. You just can't beat the taste of fresh lobster meat, butter and a toasted bun. My second favorite was Maine style. I really enjoyed the mayo mixed in with the chives on top. It gave a more fresher taste with a creamier texture to the lobster but because of the mayo it kind of masks the lobster flavor, but still great nonetheless. The least favorite was the Picnic style roll. Although different and unique, the coleslaw was just off. It was a nice crunch factor to the roll and the celery salt on top was a nice touch but I feel as though the coleslaw could have been better. The pretzels were good and nice and big. They offer one for $5 or two for $9. I don't believe they make these as they were in a bag on the counter. The only thing I would say about these is that the beer cheese that comes with two is the same amount you get if you order one. I had to buy another side of cheese dip because we ran out after the first pretzel. If you're going to serve two pretzels at least serve double the cheese sauce. There was also a crazy amount of salt on these. We ended up scrapping half of it off onto the plate because there was so much.Lastly, our drinks were delicious! Maine Root Co soda is really delicious and they know how to make some flavorful drinks. I forgot about this brand for a second because they were actually the choice of soda for Torchys Tacos in Texas and Colorado until they switched to Coke Products... We got the root beer and the blueberry soda and both were awesome. While you're getting some food from Bite into Maine, you have to get a beer from Allagash. I had a few beers from there and they do a good job.Food - 5 ⭐Service - 5 ⭐Atmosphere - 5 ⭐Overall - 5 ⭐Follow me for more reviews across America ???????Like this review if you found it helpful ?

Nicest food truck operators! FINALLY found them on the Eastern Prom. (PS AF's: use your social media daily with photos/menus/location!!) if you're looking for a flavorful, health-packed dish on-the-go, look no further. Ginger scallion sauce is amazing. Zucchini noodles, snap peas, roasted butternut squash, wild rice, chicken, carrots, spinach. Delicious! Build your own bowl style with 3 different starch's to chose from zucchini/squash/rice. 4 proteins. Chicken/ground turkey/steak/can't recall the fourth! Kale or spinach. Carrots/tomatoes/onions/snap peas and 3 different sauces including a cilantro based sauce and a chimichurri sauce. Crazy big bowl-feeds 2 hungry people easily. Excellent offering!

Stopped by this new food truck the other day and was genuinely surprised at the experience. The menu offers plenty of options, and every part of the meal is fully customizable. Best part of the experience was that all the food was fresh and cooked to order. I strongly recommend checking out Actual Foods next time you're in Portland!
