I just walked 18 min across town to come here bc the reviews and website show pizza to find out they are only a market. Don’t look at the reviews, photos or website and expect to get lunch here unless you want to make it yourself. Current day this place is a market - not a place to eat. They need to have google delete all the review photos bc they are wrong. I passed other places on the other side of town that I would have go to lunch if I knew I’d show up to no lunch here.

Truly delicious pasta and plenty of vegan options!

Place was clean and elegant. Store associates weren't very attentive. A worker was in the back on his phone, and the cashier went upstairs with a clipboard after quickly saying hello. No one asked if I needed anything or came to help when I went to the deli counter. I got tired of waiting and left before the cashier came back downstairs.

This establishment may have been fantastic. Unfortunately the person behind the counter was so rude we turned around and walked out.

I purchased a lasagna from here to take home and bake. Pasta was great, but I would not purchase their sauces with confidence -- the ragu on the lasagna was very, very sweet.

My review is based on my experience with their fresh pasta and sauces. I haven't tried their hot/prepared foods (yet). Ada's is the place I didn't know I needed in my life. I love pasta, each and every type, but sometimes you just want something a liiiiittle better than Barilla. No shade, Barilla - I still love you. But that's where Ada's comes in. Their fresh pastas and sauces are to die for. A bit on the pricier end - we paid $19 for fresh fettuccine and Béchamel sauce - but they are so worth it. We had enough sauce for a couple of meals and enough pasta for a nice meal for two. Paired with some scallops, it was the perfect dinner. The service at Ada's is also some of the best I've seen in Portland. I called to inquire if they had the products I wanted and they put them aside for me to pick up later in the day. You are always met with a smile at Ada's, so huge shout out to their awesome staff for always brightening my day. Besides daily fresh pasta and sauces, they offer other goodies, including olives, vinaigrette, pesto, and wines. They also share a location with Fiore Oils (5/5 too) for cool, artisan oils. All in all, I LOVE this place. There is something for everyone.

We recently picked up a couple prepared lasagnas and a bottle of Lambrusco. Service was really friendly and welcoming. The prepared foods area shares a spot with Fiore olive oils and vinegar which is really cute and worth having a tasting as well. The Ragu lasagna and spinach lasagna were each perfect for 3-4 people. We loved them both so much. The spinach lasagna was surprisingly spicy which we were not expecting, but loved! The slightly sweet sparkling Lambrusco was perfection paired with these lasagnas. I can't wait until they open for full service so i can try all their offerings fresh from the chef!

I took visiting friends to Ada's Friday night after it being recommended as the "new great pasta place." Unfortunately, all three pasta dishes were inedible due to the amount of SALT not only in the dishes but VISIBLE on TOP of every single one. I scarfed mine, v v hungry from camping, and was quite sick after. The cost of dinner was appalling, considering how easily it was ruined by a detail that should NEVER be so unchecked.

Came here with my sister on a Saturday afternoon! We ordered a pizza to share with mozzarella tomato and spinach! It was a really yummy pizza but it was dry so we got an extra side of marina to dip it in which made it taste a bunch better! The down side was it was $18 for a TINY pizza. We had no clue it would be so small... Would I come back? Unsure. It was good but so overpriced in that regard.

Wine or beer with a slice of pizza and their salad, sitting out on Congress, is an excellent experience. Not super cheap but will happily return every month or so. Be sure to try the Fiore olive oils and vinegar in the attached shop, free samples with local flavors.

Summer 2020 Review:Ada's is a fast casual pasta and pizza spot with a host of options outside of the downtown area in Portland. If you stop by, here's what you need to know:1. Just pay up for the large portion. It's worth it. 2. There's limited outdoor seating. Call ahead if you have a party of six or more. 3. Pizza is surprisingly well done for a Maine pizza. 4. The basic pastas are just that... basic but get the job done. 5. The specials are hit or miss. I would have gotten a different pasta since the seafood one I had wasn't exactly what I expected (cod was the seafood used in a red sauce).6. Great pricing for drinks.

We just went for happy hour...a nice drink and nosh, fun. Their simple focaccia with garlic butter was toothsome, and the accompanying olives and almonds were perfect little tidbits. So, happy hour is: buy a drink for $9, you get the bread and you,r choice of an ounce or so of almonds or olives or two other available choices that eve, dunno if they rotate the options but loved what we had. Friendly staff.
