I typically have good experiences here as a customer, but today I did not as a Door Dasher. The expediter, a woman, was rude and very condescendingly told me that how would the order be ready if it just came in?There is no way I could know when the order came in. And then she went and complained to another employee about it.Look Lady, I am working too.

Run of the mill pizza/pasta place. Dont let the looks fool you. The food is cooked with intent. Everything on the menu is delicious. The people here are also super polite.
I love the India street Amatoes! The foods is as good as it’s always been. Anytime I’m Back in Portland, I always go and get a taste of history!Now my grandchildren also love Amatoes ❤️ there’s nothing like the original!The cheese stuffers were a perfect snack to eat before heading home :)Thanks for making our delicious sandwiches ands pizza Zack!

Let me say I grew up in The Bronx and loved Italian sandwiches. Amato's makes some of the BEST FOOD IN GENERAL but the Sandwiches really are the BEST EVER!!!!Some history.....Amato's was founded in 1902 in Maine by Giovanni Amato. Amato's is best known for its Italian sandwiches. "The Original Real Italian," was supposedly invented in 1902.

I ordered the chicken and fresh spinach calzone. They put garlic on the crust and it was outstanding. Enough for 3 guidos for lunch. Being from NY it was surpassed my my bar. If I lived nearby it would be my go to.
Great place to pick up a good sandwich made fresh or pizza before taking the Ferry. Many good choices. Went here twice.

Great Italian roll. Get one. All the ingredients were fresh. Vinegar and oil was good. Better than Subway's Italian and cheaper.

I'm a local and frequent Amato's around the state. Today, August 16, we ordered three large Ham Italian sandwiches from the Falmouth Amato's. The bread was hard as a rock, the sandwiches were apparently made up ahead of time and placed in a refrigerator. They were the worst sandwiches I've ever had from Amato's. Will never go back to Falmouth store!
