So the IVR says they keep lanes open for the public, however when called to ask the hours lady on the phone said only leagues, if there’s no room for walk ins, just close? Don’t say you’re openThen went for Big Brothers Big Sisters was made to give a card to start a tab when I ordered a drink, Bayside charged me double, I have the receipt texted to me but again when called lady said it’s the way banks have to do it, we have to double charge, can’t do anything about it …like no you do not need to hold double my money when I open a tab, other restaurants that use your same system don’t double charge folks for a week,Unprofessional, closed, apathetic corporate business. Will not be back, lady was rude about it too, you should not pay her whole check only half, and tell her that’s how banks want it doneA week later, still double dipped in my bank account. How a tab works is you hold, say 25 bucks, and then when you finalize (like with a tip) you adjust the amount to that, you don’t take both amountsOnly ‘business’ that seems okay double dipping for a week with a persons money, very immoral

No wait list less than 2 days out, designed to make you sit for 2hrs before getting one hour to bowl, expensive. Staff will make wait list seem shorter than it is (ie no wait list, only 1 hr, etc

My second home. Update: They revamped and expanded the menu recently (Jan 2024). I thought the food was bussin before, my whole team all ate there pretty much every Monday but now I feel like the menu is major league! Just had the steak and cheese tn, bowled a 205.

I like bowling alleys. I grew up in a family of league bowlers, and have been in many facilities across the country.Bayside isn't spectacular, but you're probably going to get what you wanted out of it. I've never been there when it was SO busy that it was bothersome.Good: they serve food and alcohol. I've never tried them because I'm Celiac, so it's not safe for me. But I've seen other people enjoying the food. The place feels bigger than it is, so you don't feel crowded in with other groups of bowlers. If you like proactive wait staff, you will be pleasantly surprised by how short of a wait there is before your order is taken. Someone was at our lane before we could take off our shoes.Bad: the pins get stuck pretty frequently. The lane will shut down and you have to go get an attendant. This happened multiple times during our session. The seating area is very uncomfortable, but I'm sure it's low maintenance for the people who clean. I did like the cubbies being underneath the seats, though. The balls are greasy when they return from the lane. Must be something that happens in the return.I didn't see an arcade. For some reason, I thought there would be one, but it was not a drawback for us.We will go back, but would be happy if improvements were made.

Thoroughly disappointed. Overpriced, unfriendly staff, and mediocre food. Staff is more concerned about making sure you eat and order their food than making sure your lane is working or that you even have balls to play with. Had to wait over an hour to even get a lane in the first place, but don’t bother leaving to get food or a drink because you only get 5 minutes to check in at the front desk from when you get a text that notifies you your lane is ready or they move on to the next party. If you have food with you that you didn’t get to eat because you’re only allowed 5 minutes to get there, you’re not allowed to eat it, you have to order their mediocre food. Lastly, if they spent less time watching me to see if I took a bite of my food and more time with concerned with the quality of the establishment they would realize they didn’t have enough balls for people to play with. There was only 1 6lb ball and 1 14lb ball to play with because everyone else had all the balls on their lane. Only reasonable thing was the shoe rental being $5. There are better bowling alleys that are less expensive

Great traditional bowling! Had a lot of fun. The food was pretty standard and what you would expect, nothing extraordinary, but a good time overall. They were very accommodating of a work event we were having

Great energy in this place. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a lane with it being busy, but we both got burgers and fries and had a few drinks. It was both delicious and well priced. Highly recommend I will go back. Just be sure to plan ahead to make sure you get a lane.

What a fun-looking place! With shoe rentals, I bowled 1 lane for 1 hour for $50.They have a great bar with a waitress who comes to periodically take your order and pass food to you. It's a great system and was always patient with me, silently clearing my food, and let me bowl. Ordered:Philly Cheese steak with many many tots came out hot and fresh. We bowled quickly just to spend more time eating this sammie before it got cold. Pro Tip: If I had to do it over again I would eat before or after a game of bowling to save time, as it's getting more expensive these days.

Have always loved Bayside Bowl, but their parking situation is a disappointment. Admittedly it was clearly my fault for not paying attention to the parking signs, but my car was towed on Saturday from the premises and I was charged $260 cash to retrieve my car from Riverside Street in Portland. It was my birthday and we were celebrating first at Batson River and then we planned to go to Bayside's rooftop deck to continue our evening's celebrations. After leaving the distillery, after only one hour, I was shocked to see that my car had been towed away. Again, my fault. Please be mindful of the parking signs if you visit this establishment. The money charged for an accidental parking violation is greedily exorbitant and predatory in my opinion. I hope that the owner is not profiting from this, and if he or she is, I hope they are putting the money towards a good community cause to better the Portland Bayside neighborhood.

I went here for a work event, and the mezzanine bar was fantastic! Good service and tasty catered food — I especially loved the little meatballs! Boeing was ok, but a bit loud.

We had a company outing. The food was delicious and the bowling was a blast

Spent quite a bit of money at Bayside. Drinks and food were great. Unfortunately the lane we were assigned had constant issues the entire time we were bowling. Pretty pricy for a really subpar bowling experience.

We were attracted to the music coming from the roof and decided to check it out. Cool vibes with people dancing to salsa and having a good time on the roof deck. I was surprised by how much was happening at night here. Definitely a good time.
