Excellent Food! Grew up in NY and on polish food. This restaurant is a great find and highly recommended!

I used to visit this genuine Polish cuisine spot when I worked in the area. The food is indescribable so I will say Amazing. I relocated in my job and missed this place! I saw it on a delivery service I was ecstatic! I guarantee you will never have better pierogis! It's a must try place!

I have eaten a lot of Polish food in my life, because of my Grandma (and growing up in Michigan). We stopped in last night to try it out on Valentines day, and it was fantastic. I think some of the best polish food I have ever had. We will be back!

I have not been to Bogusha's in 20 years but was in Maine today and it was just as awesome as I remember it! Cannot wait to have it again soon on my next visit.

Simply FANTASTIC authentic polish food in a tiny, hole-in-the-wall restaurant/store. I felt like I was in Poland. Go in with the right mindset and attitude, pretending you are visiting Poland, and you will love it. But, go in expecting the atmosphere of some American chain restaurant with attentive table service and all the bells and whistles and you'll be disappointed. The charm and authenticity of this place, complete with the adorable, kerchief-wearing, thick accent, polish woman who owns the place, is unmatched.Go! The Polish Platter is a winner, the Bigos is phenomenal. Both of us enjoyed our meals. You may have to park around the corner but the walk is worth it.

Awesome fresh homemade pierogi's like Grandma used to make. Order a bunch of different fresh varieties for Christmas Eve dinner and they were wonderful. Also picked up some homemade kielbasa. You can dine in but the place is small and only has two tables. A bit intimidating at first glance as the proprietors/workers were a bit gruff but who cares ! It's part of the ambiance :)

I only stopped to get some pierogi and will definitely go back to try the other Polich fare (stuffed cabbage etc), which I remember from when i was a kid growing upi in t CT with a half-Polich family. I bought eh potato, bacon and scallion pierogis and they were excellent. Make sure you let them defrost completely and dont use too high heat to cook them. Quite delicious.

When I found out that there was a Polish restaurant in town, I practically fell on my face running to my car. It does not disappoint. Everything I've tried is delicious and authentic. It's a blessing to have this restaurant here, and as a side note, the owner is the absolute sweetest! You can't help but feel at home when you're here. I love everything about this place.

Authentic polish restaurant and market. I had the pierogis and the golabki. Everything was awesome. They offer dine-in, take-out and they're available on grubhub.

So delicious! I’d been wanting to try this place for quite some time. Got the Polish Platter so I could taste multiple items and all were so yummy! I will be back!

Food was great, just a week after i returned from a short trip to Poland. The kielbasa, potato pancakes, bean stew, and cabbage stuffed with beef were notably good.It feels like dining in a small shop, so the ambiance and service are not designed for dine-in customers, but it all worked out.No beer/alcohol sold, but we brought in our own beer (BYOB).Kid-friendliness: We parked on the street in front, and had 3 kids with us.

we love pierogi's so we called to make sure they were open and had pierogi's. but when we got there, the older woman behind the cash register refused to even look at us. She kept talking (in Polish) with another woman who kept staring at us disapprovingly. It is a very small, old looking interior, there were no other customers. we waited and waited.I have rarely felt more unwelcome somewhere. She would not smile or talk about the place, and was only in a hurry to get us out of there. I asked about potato pierogie and she reluctantly gave us an old sheet of paper with the list on it. She said "We only sell 10 at a time: frozen". I asked if people also eat them hot in the restaurant, and where do they sit. She answered "So do you want some?"I didn't want to upset my son, so I tried again to get her to talk: I asked about Kasimir Pulaski and she said "I never heard of him". I said he was a famous soldier celebrated in Poland and America and she said "Some people celebrate in New York..."Not sure why I still bought the pierogi: frozen lumps in a ziplock bag. They were decent pierogi when we got them home, but what a rotten experience.
