Portland has a lot of bars but this one definitely my favorite! The atmosphere and vibe is on point. Food and drinks are excellent. This is the kind of place you’d wanna hit up at least once a week

The drinks here are and have been consistently great.l, love the atmosphere . Food has gone downhill and the past year or so it's been kind of "meh." if you're starving it's fine but probably not what your first choice destination should be in this part of

jesus. the music was a travesty. who needs limp bizkit anymore? my seat was broken, our waiter didn't bring my drink until i asked again and never brought my friend's drink. The burger was cold and - get this - said they didn't have any mustard in the kitchen. say what you will - mustard isn't for everyone, but not even having it where you serve burgers is WEIRD.And all of that is second to throwing up later. terrible night. avoid.Waiter was friendly but inept and not very good at being a waiter.

Atmosphere was cozy and dark, I find this to be romantic and that is actually hard to find. I appreciate the speakeasy feel. Service and staff was attentive and friendly. Late night snack of Truffle fries was the perfect size for two to share. The cocktail I ordered was not something I enjoyed, not because it was bad, I went outside my comfort zone with a 50% success rate, next time! I would recommend others to try the cocktais. Given the overall experience, I give a 5,

Loved this place. My lady and I had a great time. Went on a Wednesday night so it wasn't packed. My favorite part was the bartenders. They were both super cool, friendly, and took great care of us. The only negative I could possibly say is that they need a cleaning service. Bathrooms were both disgusting. Lots of spider webs all over and the mirror behind the bar had a layer of dried lime juice about an inch thick. If they did a big clean up I would certainly go to 5 stars. Despite my last comments I would still highly recommend! (Unless someone in your party is in a wheelchair. Pretty sure no handicap entrance.)

Super cool spot. Cool, spooky atmosphere and friendly service. My husband enjoyed his Old Fashions (with smoked orange peel!) and I appreciated that they offered an NA cocktail list, some with NA spirits. One fun feature: they have old, food pedal-controlled sinks in the bathrooms!

I’m not sure if bramhall is under new ownership or something else, but the quality of drinks has recently taken a big turn downhill. We came in last night and each of our 4 cocktails lacked balance and flavor. The bartender offered to craft something up for me— it left a lot to be desired and I was charged 50% more than a signature cocktail. The staff was friendly enough, but it seems like there’s a discrepancy in training, bar knowledge, and general etiquette (not their fault, just a note). Our server at one point took the rag off his shoulder and used it to wipe his nose in front of our table. It’s a bummer to see this once great spot go downhill so suddenly.

What a spot! I suppose this little pub is referred to as a "speakeasy" and I understand why. It is located in the basement under an Italian restaurant, which boats more of a cave/catacomb feel than what you may expect from a Portland cellar. There are lovely brick arches, low light, and lots of candles. As much as we liked the atmosphere, and we did find it quite cozy, the drink menu is something to boast about. Not only do they have an impressive beer list, we did try several local beers and enjoyed them all, they have an extraordinary cocktail list with a bartender who really knew his stuff. One cocktail, that happens to be a personal favorite, was actually on the menu here and was made quite well. I would absolutely recommend a Corpse Reviver #2 if you visit Bramhall, and I would recommend anyone in Portland looking for a fun place to get a drink to visit here. They do have a food menu also, but we only went for drinks.
