Stopped in for some cocktails and an appetizer. The whipped feta toast was delicious. Cool and unique atmosphere. Our bartender/server, Tony, was super nice and fun. Say hi to Boris the

My cousin and I decided to try this place, during Maine Restaurant Week, because we've never been here before. We so impressed with our lovely hostess/server Elizabeth, she treated us like queens! She's the primary reason I would return!Close second is the food. OUTSTANDING!It met all my dietary needs, and it was so fresh and beautifully presented. Absolutely delicious, we licked the plates clean! My cocktail was yummy and beautifully presented too.Such a beautiful atmosphere, and I can't wait to return this summer

I'm trying to find a way to add a picture of the *vibe* at Broken Arrow because if a picture is worth a thousand words, then this review would tell you all you need to know. The food is delicious, the cocktails are delectable, and the staff is delightful (Elizabeth, front of house, especially.) Is this place named for the song? Might be, because the music here was just loud enough to enjoy during pauses in conversation - occasionally everyone's mouth was full and our taste buds were busy in happiness, so our ears had a chance to have some sonic happiness. The playlist one the night of our first visit (we were on our way to a concert up the street at the State Theater) was eclectic and enhanced the vibe set by the food, drinks, staff, and decor, perfectly. Broken Arrow (the song) is amazing - a bit hard to describe, like a sunset, you know it is beautiful and always the same, even as it changes - like all the cover versions over the decades. At this restaurant, the menus will change, but I think we will go back, again and again, because there will always be a new version of something familiar.*I agree with other posted comments about the food being heavily salted.

Amazing new spot for us! Food was delicious but service was even better. The Brussels and feta toast were top tier!

We did the chef's tasting menu back in 2022 and I still talk about it. Can't wait to go back with my husband. What amazing food and staff!

This place has all the trappings of a great spot, but the food fell so short for so much money and I am convinced there was next to no alcohol in our cocktails... service was excellent, but unfortunately the food experience is absolutely not worth it.

I don’t often write reviews, but when I do, it’s probably bad. Honestly, if the food wasn’t seriously overpriced, I might have let it slide. But here I am having an allergic reaction to something that must have been in the food but was not listed on the menu. Allergies aside the food was so bad I’m actually impressed. One would have to try to make something so over-salted and underwhelming. Well played. I did enjoy the experience if only for all of the laughs that come with knowing you’re paying a month’s rent for food that tastes like “dirty dishwater.”

We came here on a Friday night with anticipation of trying one of the many different restaurants in Portland, Maine and it was a slight disappointment. An intimate spot, we started off with drinks while our server, Kelsey T, explained the menu and how entrees were family style, sharable portions. With that, I opted for the Pappardelle, as I was hungry and the wife went with the large greens, figuring she would be having some of mine. Her Salad was tasty, but by no means, was it a $28 salad. My Pappardelle was tasty, but a fine dining portion......small!So, in the end, a salad, a pasta dish and three drinks ran us $125. That is a disappointment and I'm not positive I would try the Broken Arrow again.
