Buns were great. Not much for seating, but it was packed. The drinks were good. I played it safe and had a fruit tea with boba and they were perfectly cooked.

I Passed by Portland during lunch time, and found this place on Yelp. To make the review fair, my review is only for food, specifically beef stew noodle soup. The review is not for bubble tea (since I didn't try it). Maybe their bubble tea is good, I don't know; but the food is not even close to "pass" grade. They claim to be "Authentic Taiwanese Cuisine", and as a Taiwanese, I am telling you the beef stew noodle soup was not "authentic Taiwanese". The order experience: after me and another group ordered, most people (except for one that I could see) worked there left the store for whatever reason, left me with that group of customers waiting. I finally asked about it to the only person working there, and she politely told me that the beef stew anything (noodle soup or rice) would take 15 minutes to make. 27 minutes after I ordered my food, I finally got it in my hands. The service was pretty bad in my book. The food: the beef stew noodle soup came with 4(!!) small pieces of beef, and the taste was very close to "ready cooked/microwaved beef stew package". The portion was also fairly small. I finished the meal, but was not happy. Proof I might be right: I went to the asian supermarket yesterday and bought what I remembered to be a very similar flavored package ( I paid $5.95 for this, and I can confirm the taste is 95%+ similar. I am not saying it's definitely the same thing, but I have my doubts, and for what it is, they are selling it for 12.95. Conclusion: if you are craving for Taiwanese food, this is NOT the place to try. Drive another hour or so to Boston area. Any crappy Taiwanese restaurants would be better taste and value than this place.

Prep time takes too long...no one in the line and i waited 25 mins to get the food, one noodle and one rice only. Portion is small and tastes just ok.

DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to be charged for items you did not receive and then like to be called a liar when you call up to let them know. We WERE good customers, we WILL NOT be back!!!

Fun place in downtown Portland! Didn't get a whole lot this visit, just a bubble tea. But I most certainly want to come back and try out several dishes that were on the menu. I'll gladly add to this review once I can come back and do so.

I love a good lycee strawberry smoothie and adding lycee jellies puts over the top. The drinks are delicious and the staff is super friendly. No matter why this place has been around for years!

Stopped in to grab some bubble tea for my wife before dinner. First time here but I would definitely consider coming back and trying their food ?

Really good food and great staff

Great food and wide selection of drinks. Had vegan options. No plant milk for bubble tea, but got iced tea and added bubbles which was satisfactory. Will go again.

Extremely sweet staff, great service. Interior design is a little lacking, but I don't judge a book by its cover. I really enjoyed my strawberry bubble tea!

Amazing find. Got their black tea with boba and it wasn't too sugary. It was also strong so it woke us up. Their pork buns were good too!

The bubble tea here is great (would highly recommend taro). They only have one size and sugar level, which for me was perfect and not too sweet. An added bonus is the compostable bubble tea straws they use!

Curry tofu over rice, vegetable bun and Thai tea with boba were all delicious! Can highly recommend.
