This is my new favorite restaurant in the Portland area! Best falafel I've had anywhere, and absolutely everything else we tried was delicious too! Super nice people there as well who were so patient with all our questions about the menu. They set up an extra table for us so we'd have space to eat inside, and gave us samples of falafel and garlic bread. I will definitely be back!!!!!!

A family-owned business that serves mouthwateringly delicious, made-to-order food at reasonable prices.I can’t say enough about the food or the service; I’ve lived in New York and Chicago, and their falafel is among the best I’ve ever tasted, crispy, perfectly spiced, and served fresh from the fryer. I came in with a larger party and the owner went and brought out a bigger table and more chairs so that we could all eat together. All things considered, a lovely experience that has made Falafel Time one of our favorite destinations for casual cuisine.Vegetarian options: The majority of the menu is vegetarian.Parking: About a half-dozen spots.Kid-friendliness: We came with our ten-year-old and had a lovely meal. The atmosphere is low key and family-friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is easily accessible.

I love this place - stopped in again last night for a quick snack before heading to a holiday concert. When I was almost finished someone came out and offered the garlic naan for me to try on the house! Always delicious, will be back again soon.

Got a falafel salad, babganush, and a Chicken Teka wrap to go. Very good stuff. The falafel were crispy on the outside and moist in the center. The tahini sauce and hummas were also very good. The chicken wrap was grilled on the outside to make it panini-like. Flavorful chicken with tasty french fries. We tried the babaganush which was ok. A little too smoky for our tastes.Friendly service, and the guy gave us a free falafel while we were looking at the menu.

I had a falafel wrap, fries, grape leaves hummus & naan bread here today, everything tasted fresh. Appreciate the vegan friendly options!

My family loves eating at Falafel Time. The owners are so friendly and helpful. They cook the food in-house, and run this family-owned business with care and love that goes into the homeade food, including sauces, desserts, and more. A bonus is It's fast, but not fast food. Love it!!! Check out their Baklava!!

I really like their falafel. The pocket was so good, which made it a really good sandwich. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The people were very nice and friendly, good job.?

On a recent visit to Portland, we decided one day that we wanted something different, something not seafood, not lobster, so we looked online for a place and found Falafel Time.We drove to the restaurant and found good parking available (something a few other restaurants off the tourist path did not have). The place itself is clean and unpretentious -- and non-touristy!The food was great. We both got the chicken plate and had a spinach dish as our side. The chicken and rice was very good, but the spinach curry was excellent. It was not curry as I know it, but whatever that spice was (not hot just savory), the spinach was really good. And of course the one falafel you get on the plate was nice, too.The food was very good, the service was excellent (including the guy who took our order), and our overall experience was solid. At $17 a plate, the price was reasonable for the large amount of chicken you got. We have another trip to Portland next month, and we will definitely be back.
