If only they treated their employees better there wouldn’t be such a high turnover rate.

Visited the lobster shack on a cold off season Sunday. Had the butter lobster roll and the lobster poutine. Thought it was ok. Compared to the other local restaurants that serve lobster rolls I thought the lobster portions weren't as generous maybe because it was off season but any how food was ok.

We arrived at 3:00 and we had the place to ourselves. Our waitress suggested a Portland Vodka and a local brew. Both spectacular. We ordered oysters, clam Chowder, mussels, crab cakes. Every thing was delicious. Chef came out to speak to us. At 4:00 Happy hour started. We got more oysters and craft beer. Well priced. Great location. Fun music. Love this place. The staff is so friendly and helpful. We'll be back for the Brunch.

Really not a fan of website prices being several dollars less than what's listed on the actual menu for the exact same items. Seems pretty deceptive. Might've overlooked that if the food and service was outstanding, but it definitely wasn't. Sadly, this was one of our last meals in Portland, and the only one that was disappointing. Lobster rolls were ok (small and overpriced compared to EVERYWHERE else); the greens "salad" was old, sad, and limp - shouldn't have been served. The one server working at the time was not knowledgeable about the menu and flustered, although there were few customers. Wish we'd gone somewhere else, but we were tired, and it was convenient. Will know better next time.

While I’ve had Maine lobster before, this place can’t be oversold. The lobster was cooked perfectly along with fantastic corn and coleslaw for this time in the season (Columbus Day). The special that night was the Salmon Oscar, which was well balanced and seasoned. The server was very kind and attentive which tied the experience together. Highly recommended!

Great Clam Chowder. Nice place. Lobster roll tasted plain. Not worth $20. Small cup of Clam Chowder not worth $10, even though it was good. Long wait for food compared to other eateries in the area.

Not sure what was going on. Not very busy and the service and food were lacking hard. No water glasses, no salad dressing, no side plates, no bowl for used shells, no napkins, etc. all those things would’ve been fine if it was a serve yourself restaurant… But for the prices they’re asking I mean come on, really?

Had my first lobster roll and it was delicious!! Loved the Siracha sauce too. The chef was doing an experiment with a new desert and let us have it! It was also delicious! Our waiter was so friendly and helpful. First time in Maine and I'm not disappointed.
