These folks are so genuine and friendly! They also make the BEST VEGAN ITALIAN sandwich this side of the bridge, whichever bridge best applies for you! I was thinking Brooklyn maybe you were thinking Casco Bay, either way fuhgeddaboudit and get over there if you’re a vegan. I can’t speak for the pizza but I bet it’s also delizioso!!Vegetarian options: Amazing vegan (non dairy) options in the cold cases. Violife whipping cream! What?!?

Monte’s in Portland caught my attention! I recently had the pleasure of trying their pre-cooked pizza, and it was fantastic. This experience has left me even more eager to sample their fresh pizza. If the pre-cooked pizza is any indication, I have no doubt that their fresh pizza will be outstanding. Their baker I believe owned Little Bigs and that was the best bakery!Also outstanding local cheese selection!

There is a great pleasure to eat anything from Montes. I NEVER HAD SUCH A WONDERFUL PIZZA OR KALE SALAD. THEY ARE GOOD NATURED AND GREAT. YOU WILL NEVER BE DISAPPOINTED. I know it’s national pizza day but my wife called at 5:30. They told us to pick up the pizza at 6:45. She gave her name I get there there’s no pizza there’s no record of us calling in ordering the pizza and now they’re sold out and I don’t think they really care if I ever come back they obviously have a lot of business so good for them.

So this place should be 5 star when it comes to Maine but I'm just someone who comes from the best pizza New Haven and Boston but this pizza was really good I like how the flour is unbleached! It's the best pizza I had in Maine so far and I tried a decent amount of places! It gets a Decent 8.2! For Maine that's like a 9.2!

David Portnoy destroyed this place. You used to be able to walk in anytime and count on walking out with Pizza, not so much now. Last two times they were out of dough so no pizza... My last attempt was on 10/27 an hour and a half before closing. That said they do have the best Pizza. Solution: Post on your website when you expect to run out of dough...
