I've been to Thailand and I've tried many Thai restaurants in and around New England. The food coming out of this kitchen is excellent! My personal favorite is their Pad Se Ewe, but the Pad Thai is also very good. If you're in downtown Portland and looking for a Thai restaurant, look no further than this place. You won't be disappointed.

While I appreciate the restaurant's effort to stay open during the holidays, my experience at this Thai establishment was unfortunately disappointing. Upon entering, we noticed a table cluttered with leftover food, which seemed wasteful for someone who loves Thai cuisine. The main dishes we ordered, pad Thai and orange chicken, were overly sweet, making it challenging to enjoy the flavors. We also ordered soups and some starters, definitely not worth the price we paid. Frankly, I believe I could replicate better Thai dishes following an online recipe. The two stars given for being open during the holidays….

I fell in love with Sabieng when I first ate here 7+ years ago. The food is delicious and served quickly by knowledgeable and kind staff. I highly recommend the noodle dishes, the Drunken Noodles or Pad Se-Ewe with Tofu are my personal favorites, and the Mango curry is also well worth a try!Vegetarian options: Some of the best tofu I've ever had! Fried but not greasy.

Unassuming little spot in downtown Portland, the spring rolls and fried rice with chicken were so good! Order was ready quickly, I only wish I lived in the area so I could frequent this spot more often.

Ordered drunken noodles with tofu. The person who took my order was cognizant that i might not want eggs since I chose tofu and asked about removing the egg. Good vegan options
