Ahhh, the perfect karaoke dive. No song book, just a piece of paper where you write down what you want to sing. Place was lively and filled with locals on a Saturday night. Beer was good, reasonably priced. A fun night, two thumbs up.

Good drink. Good price. Chill area. Not a ton of people... But just like anywhere else, a few drunks that you wouldnt want to meet in the alley late at night, but here... it feels super safe and it's good prices for drinks all around!

Went on karaoke night and tried to sing a song, but the mics didn't work. Honestly, they hadn't worked for the past 4 songs. My husband told them their gig was s*** and they tackled him on our way out. 0/10 will go back.

I don't generally get rude in my reviews, even if I have a bad experience. I always try to keep it civil. However, there is no way around it...This place SUCKS. This past Saturday night my friends and I decided to stop in for some karaoke during my friend's bachelorette party weekend. Truthfully we shouldn't have gone (not my choice) because my friend the bachelorette was already pretty far gone from the brewery tour we took (which was so much fun!). However, my girlfriend as well as another friend who was several months pregnant had not been drinking, and yet my girlfriend was the only one they inexplicably refused to serve when she went to order her first drink! My friend who walked in trashed was literally served until she walked outside and passed out in the streets of Portland. But for whatever reason, my sober gf could go eff herself. All of us had attempted to question and reason with the bartender but she wouldn't even give us an explanation. She just said she has the right to refuse whoever she wants. We were shocked. This has never happened to any of us before. As irate as I was, my bachelorette friend wanted to stay for a while to sing some karaoke, and although I refused to spend a dime in the establishment, another of the girls bought the rest of us a round. I wish she hadn't have thrown her money away. The bad service aside, that was also the worst drink (a long island if you want to call it that) that I've ever had. It tasted like cola, rubbing alcohol, and cleaning products. Everyone else complained about the taste of their drinks as well. Apparently my bachelorette friend was too drunk to care that night. Ugh. I highly recommend staying the F away from this place.

Ok until the brothers show up

Have had two awful experiences there. Both has to do with an outsourced security company they use. The guard was drunk both times and instigates fights with women and men who are of color.

Don't go here. Visited here last night after dinner with my girlfriend. We had a very unpleasant experience for the 30 seconds we were there. Similar to another reviewer, we were greeted to the equivalent of an old timey saloon where the piano stops playing and everyone gets quiet and looks at you. We walked up to the bar, I ask my gf what she wants and before she can respond the bartender says, with a grimace, "we can't serve her alcohol." I ask why and the bartender rudely said "she stumbled on the way in here. And I don't have to give you a reason why". Very taken aback, I say bye and we leave. Having just come from dinner where we each had one drink, it was entirely ridiculous that we came off too drunk serve, let alone too drunk to be polite to. Additionally, it was raining and there are exposed steps leading into the bar, so even if she had tripped or stumbled, which she didn't, there are far more likely reasons than drunkenness. The bartender's demeanor was unprofessional and she seemed interested in starting an argument with us just so she could kick us out. We didn't give her the satisfaction. Other reviews confirm my suspicion that this place prides itself on being a townie-only bar. We just wanted to have a quiet drink at a dive bar, only to be treated as lesser than.
