I went to star bucks yesterday and drank coffee to get me through dealing with my deadbeat son Thomas who cant even pay his own bills

Reliable and quick. My usual go to for coffee.

Starbucks isn't my favorite place to get coffee in Portland because there are so many other superb coffee roasters around, but it's okay. They have good lattes and cappuccinos and some nice pastries. I love the historic building that this particular Starbucks occupies.

This is the best moment with a cup of hot Latte enjoying the spectacular view of the Portland piers

I work down the street and love the convenient location. I don’t love the coffee though. I usually get a vanilla sweet cream cold brew when I go to any Starbucks location and it’s pretty consistent across the board. However, this location is an outlier. I’ve mobile ordered multiple times and it’s always horrible. My coworker says the same thing and has had their order messed up multiple times. Not sure what’s up with this location but I suggest they get it together.

Basic Starbucks. Staff are friendly and fast so that's why it gets 5 ?

This Starbucks location (store #7408) has a history of bias and insensitivity toward customers of color. On a trip this summer, I was asked to leave the store by a barista citing a local health ordinance about staying indoors. However, he did not ask my partner and other white customers, also seated at the café, to leave. I was singled out. I spoke with the manager and district manager, Bianca, who later apologized. Starbucks offered me a gift card, and even though I didn't want it, I thought accepting it would bring some closure. No. They never sent it and ignored my subsequent emails. I've noticed some people in Portland, ME appear to resent the influx of tourists, especially tourists of color who can afford to travel. They don't seem to realize that tourism--by people like myself--supports their economy. Places that have diverse staff and display politically progressive flags don't give me this vibe, but this Starbucks location certainly does.
Door locked at 7:48pm. Hours stated open till 8pm. Management should address this performance issue with staff.

No bathrooms. Sorry but the pandemic is not an excuse.

Nice, old building gives this location some charm, otherwise it's just another Starbucks. Also, not much seating, so don't plan on hanging out here and pretending to work :)
