I visited this place for the first time and was blown away by the fresh taste of the food. I highly recommend trying this restaurant. I definitely need to sharpen my skills with chopsticks ?. I had a fantastic time and the food was great.

Lovely service and incredible food from what I perceived as a hole in the wall joint. Everyone should be here, top tier.

Awesome service, seated a big party of us right away. The owners went above and beyond to make it a special experience for us and the food was spectacular ???

We are visiting from the Boston area. I was nervous trying a new pho place but I will say this place was delicious! The broth is rich, sweet, and full of flavor. My kids ate all their food. My wife and I got the spicy beef and chicken pho and the flavor of the broth was on another level. Please try it out! The waiter came by and asked us how we are enjoying it and also wanted to meet our kids. The service was personal and sincere! Thank you guys for the meal!

Terrible pho. Order the medium special pho; $14.95/bowl. It was all noodles with pitiful little scraps of beef floating around in it. The broth was mediocre and had an odd aftertaste. Service was quick and friendly, so that’s a plus. Would not recommend or return.

Excellent food and very friendly and attentive service. I've only ever eaten Vietnamese food once before and that was in Vietnam whilst on a cruise. We asked the lady who served us for a recommendation. It was lovely, just the right amount of spuce and tasty. It was very cheap, especially in central London. We will return.

Half of our order was missing and food was cold. Such a bummer, was excited to order form here.

So. Yes.Solid order of Pho. Broth was right, meat was right, noodles were right. Would and will return. Small was sufficient.I also like the lady behind the bar, she is sassy in a good way.

Even the place looks very antique, but the inside is clean and service is friendly. However, the egg rolls were lacked of meat, not met our expectation. We ordered egg noodles seafood (mì seafood) we got the pho noodles seafood (hủ tiếu seafood) with a very unique taste.

I used to eat here fairly regularly and really enjoyed the food, but haven't been back for a few years. The last time it was excellent as it had been in the past. My husband and I ordered our two favorite dishes, chowfoon noodles and a vermicelli bowl, and I was quite disappointed by both dishes. The chowfoon noodles used to come on a platter, with lots of vegetables plus the meat/seafood, and the sauce was thick and flavorful. This came in a bowl, was more like soup, and there was certainly less of everything. The vermicelli bowl came with three deep-fried shrimp that were pretty flavorless, and the egg rolls were almost burnt. To pay $40 for this meal plus a soft drink seemed a bit steep. After the consistently excellent meals I've enjoyed here in the past, this was a letdown.

Recent TripAdvisor's reviews of Thanh Thanh 2 point towards an enjoyable and satisfying meal, which led me to seek it out for a Pho lunch. The dining room patronage was sparse this afternoon allowing the waitstaff to be attentive. My order was taken quickly, and a bowl of Spicy Pho arrived very shortly thereafter accompanied by bean sprouts, sliced jalapenos, fresh basil, and a lime wedge. Many southeast Asian restaurants in Portland advertise spicy soups or entrees on their menus. But, Thanh Thanh 2 certainly delivered. The heat in the beef consume comes on slowly and, at first, I thought it might just have been the jalapeno slices. Nope. Minus the peppers, the heat became satisfying, prompting the need for another napkin to wipe the tear from my eye. Overall, Thanh Thanh's Pho was very satisfying. The only reservation from the lunch experience was in the bill. I ordered a small bowl and a small bowl (when compared with other patrons) was brought to the table. The charge on the receipt was for a large bowl. It also should be mentioned that the restaurant has a single-priced menu that serves for both lunch and dinner.

Great food, fast and reliable. I've been coming here for years. Would definitely recommend!
