The Tomazzo bagel with cream cheese was so good I can't stop thinking about it. A delicious cooked down tomato flavor on the bagel and light/whipped cream cheese. The bagel wasn't chewy at all - the perfect texture. I wish I could buy one again.

This was one of only one food spots open at the airport. I got in line was told couldn’t order food this early. So just grabbed water. Then after 4:30 they were serving food but the airport was now packed beyond capacity it looked like. I waited in line a long time. I was getting concerned since my flight was going to start boarding at 5:20am. I think it was two workers now earlier it was just one. But i think them being the only real food option besides Starbucks they were getting slammed. The service from the workers at the bagel place were great considering lots of customers hungry in the morning with nothing else open.i don’t blame them they did their best considering the amount of people and orders. But the business price board had two different prices flashing for the food/Sandwiches and also the sandwiches that were supposed to be on a plain bagel there were no plain bagels to order well none in sight. I assumed if i ordered a sunrise sandwich it come on the plain bagel like it was described but they still ask what kind of bagel. So when it was my turn i see no plain bagels i got another option. I get to the counter i asked the gentleman the price as there were two different prices showing. He did confirm it was the higher price and he did take the discount off due to the error in pricing so i was satisfied. Overall the workers at the food places had nothing to do with the experience itself but the food just isn’t good. Bagels were great and the sandwich was very dry and more bagel than egg and meat. But if you are hungry it is an option considering how small the airport is.

I did not eat at the establishment but while at the airport in Portland ME was sitting adjacent to the kitchen where food was prepared and customers were helped. I noted a single female employee around 1630 on Monday 2/12/24 waiting on people. I watched her rubbing her face and mouth and touching her hair and in the next minute without putting on gloves, proceed to take an order then make a sandwich. after the customer had left, she proceeded to fold up some kind of meat with cheese, and proceeded to eat it behind the counter, never washing her hands through any of it. Unbelievable.

Didn’t eat here but arrived for my flight at Gate 1A at 7am. Could hear the employee or manager all the way from the counter by Gate 4. Swearing and loudly complaining about other employees, and either her boss or other managers. She really didn’t like the younger employees and some guy who kept throwing her lists away. She finally stopped when I assume a customer came up cause I heard her say “give 5 minutes okayyy”

The food is great but don’t order hot coffee, the coffee here is unbearable. I took two sips and dumped it out.I gave it three stars though cause I have really enjoyed the food and service here

Was there this morning at 4 AM for an early flight. Right by our gate was your store and one gentleman was working. One person working! The line was outrageously long. He ran his behind off, never complained, was courteous to everyone, and did it all! I did not get his name, but you should be absolutely proud of the way he conducted business under your name!Because of his attitude, and the way he conducted himself every customer appreciated him and told him as much. I just think you need to know about the superstar you have working for you at the Portland airport!

I was so excited for a delicious bagel! Sadly disappointed when I got my order. The bagel fell flat- I asked for toasted but there was no sign of that at all. Even in- toasted, I've had much better bagels and was hoping with the name of the business that they would be more expert than they are. Sad disappointing start to my morning

we arrived at the airport around 3pm, noticed a bunch of self checkout signs for general items that would be in one of the gift shops. a couple bagels behind the counter and about 4 bagel sandwiches pre made. there was two women "working" but not a single engagement with the customers. when i asked if they were making sandwiches they said no!only self checkout items, needless to say it wasn't busy and i think they were just making cream cheese....a complete let down especially with such a great looking place.

10:30 am on a Saturday. No bagels to order just 3 pre-made bagel sandwiches left. We bought 2 of them after figuring out the self-checkout system (just place your items on a pad and the bar codes are read automatically). No napkins. Appears the Great American Bagel is designed by robots for robots, very neat ones at that.

This place is frustrating. Random opening times. Almost never open in time to eat before the first flights out which is around 5:30am. Jet port already has limited options and what options they have are not open. This particular place is the worst. High prices, poor opposing times for breakfast and staff can be not the kindest. Food is decent but you will pay for it.
