I Made a reservation for Thursday night 11/3/22 several weeks in advance to celebrate a good friends birthday dinner. Left my name and phone number with the hostess. We arrived at the restaurant for our reservation to find the door locked, it was closed “open only Friday and Saturday this week” the handwritten sign in the door said. No one bothered to call me to reschedule my reservation. How absolutely rude! I don’t think I’ll be back. So then we visited another local restaurant Tipo and luckily got last minute seats at the bar. Service was excellent and the Food was delicious at Tipo!

On my BF’s birthday, we waited 2 hours for our food, 40 min just to order, it wasn’t crowded at all. And the food was just ok but the bill was not. The waitstaff was GREAT and comped our drinks for the wait. I would only return here for drinks, the ambiance is absolutely stunning!

Embry (sp?) was the best hostess - she was personable, kind and accommodating. Our server, Emma was fabulous as well. We can’t say enough about the amazing waitstaff at this restaurant. The food was tasty, but I think the portions are a bit small. We ordered the haddock special which was delicious but was lacking a starch. My advice is not to arrive starving. The ambiance of the treehouse is nice.

Ravioli crisps were delicious. Tasty with a nice salty, crunchy exterior. Matched well with the greens and cranberries gave a nice touch of sweetness. Main dish had pears and chicken. Tasted disjoint but not bad. Cozy but dim restaurant, I couldn't see the menu or my food.

I loved the concept of the restaurant, it was kinda cool up there. We did sit inside so did not check out deck. The downside to this place was lighting. We had to use phones to read their limited menu and when the food came I just couldn't even see what I was eating. It was hard to enjoy the food when I didn't know what I was putting in my mouth. The food was OK but nothing that makes me wanna run back and try it again.

I've been to treehouse twice for cocktails and had a great time. We decided to go for dinner. I made sure an 8pm seating was not too late, and they assured me it was fine. We had to beg for water let alone the drinks we ordered. No bread was provided so we had to ask for that which came as two pieces of small stale focaccia, before we had received our drinks. We immediately put our order in for our meal after having to go to the kitchen to hunt down our waitress. After another 45 minutes, begging for more break and another round of drinks, we finally decided to leave as it was almost 9:30 and we still only had stale bread and 1 drink. The staff was incredibly rude minus the one hostess/runner who did what she could to make us slightly more comfortable. I would never recommend it again. The ambiance is the only redeeming part of The Treehouse. Very very disappointed.

An absolutely perfect experience! Everyone was incredibly friendly and professional from start to finish. We didn't have a reservation but luckily another party had just canceled and we were quickly accommodated by the very kind hostess. We were offered our choice of dining inside or outside on their deck. We chose the latter and the ambiance was perfect! The surrounding trees, hanging lights and water fountain made for a very relaxing atmosphere and truly made it feel like we were in a treehouse. It was very private and peaceful. Our server, "Aloe", was the absolute best! And not to mention the food...Everything was perfect and tasted so fresh and comforting that it felt like we were eating at home with family ☺️ This was our first time here but definitely not our last! We think we found one of our new favorite spots!

I really liked the fruits and veggies that got added to each dinner. The apps were very tasty and so were the entrees. The major downside to this place is cash/ venmo only and very expensive. I'd say it's a little expensive for the quality of the food.

I was invited to a dinner at The Treehouse with a group of 8 other friends, 10 in total. There were able to accommodate us with no issue. Our server, Jade, was outstanding. She was able to handle the size of the table with ease. Drinks were always full and empty plates removed. The food was good, not exceptional. I had a ginger beef special, my wife had the Lemon Curry Chicken. The beef special was fairly bland, I had to dig deep into the dish to find the ginger sauce they cooked the beef in to get any hint of flavor. There were 5 or 6 bite sized pieces of beef and a ton of greens and sides. The proportion of the highlight of the dish to everything else was off. The Lemon Curry Chicken was bland as well, it was cooked well but was lacking. This place also does not take credit or debit cards, they are cash or Venmo. On a side note I have never used Venmo before tonight's visit and it failed when I tried to pay, so have some cash as a backup. Overall I am glad we tried The Treehouse, but will not need to return anytime in the near future.

Great aesthetic, but the food was nothing to write home about. Severe lack of seasoning on any of the food. While the intention may have been to let the ingredients of this farm to table restaurant speak for itself, the lack of salt led to everything being bland, and you feeling like you could do better at home. For the price, I wouldn't recommend it.

We recently visited the Treehouse based on wonderful experiences pre-COVID. This is no longer the case. First, If you are going to accept only cash and Venmo, customers need to be informed when making a reservation. Second, the quality of the appetizers and pizza were good but the meals terrible. All meals came with the same vegetables (roasted red peppers and asparagus which didn't fit the pallette of the other flavors) The steak was chewy and the pasta bland. I had the tomato-based fish stew which was very underwhelming. It is overpriced for the quality. Sadly we will not return.

If you've ever wondered what it's like to eat in a treehouse this is your joint. The decor and vibe are exactly what you'd imagine them to be and set thr tone for a magical evening. We brought our little with us and they treated them so great. Our service was great. The drinks are incredible and the cheesecake is a must. We had the Flatbread for an appetizer and were glad we did. The main courses were wonderful as well. It's definitely a Mediterranean vibe on the dishes, so expect veggies, green, and fruit. We can't wait to come back ?

Truly the worst dining experience of my life. With only three tables the entire time we were there, we still had to wait a half hour for drinks and over an hour for our food, and neither were worth the wait. The mimosas were 100% juice (not joking), the bloodys were just tomato water, the Diet Coke had ZERO carbonation. The food came out warm, not hot. The eggs were only half cooked, still had raw whites. The staff was nice but clearly very inexperienced and easily overwhelmed by the littlest thing. We just seemed to be forgotten about while the staff did god knows what. I’m very hard to displease as a diner, and this one takes the cake for being the worst. Will never waste my money here ever again, and I’m going to spread the word. Also, it was my birthday.

Over a year later, and my previous review is still the latest one. I guess the tourists haven't discovered this place yet and the locals don't care about writing reviews. But I'm from Saco, so. I got my usual Black Jade steak tips. These are addicting. I've bought lots of marinated steak tips in my long(ish) life, and these are the best I've ever had. So all you tourists who are flocking back to the Portland/seacoast area this summer and staying in cottages, camps, airb&bs, or mobile homes and doing your own cooking -- trust me, this is a great place to get all kinds of high-quality meats and other stuff, too. Pat's has a stellar reputation.

I made a reservation for 6 people 3 weeks in advance and received an email confirming. I reached out closer to the event and didn't receive an answer, but Google said they were open, so we went down and they were closed. No response to my email and the phone message is garbled and contains no dates, just "Thursday". I understand staffing shortages, but no excuse to let your reservations know you won't be open.
