I've never written a review on anything before but yesterday we stopped in 2 Fat Cats and chose a 7 inch bumbleberry pie and when we went to serve it last night, discovered a rubbery top crust and totally under-cooked bottom crust. It was so runny, it had to be dished out with a spoon. Frankly, it was disgusting. Worst pie I've every tried.

The best baked goods in ME hands down. Definitely try their handpies.

They don't answer the phone. Tried to order but could get no info.

Really the 2 stars is not for their food or service. It's for the fact that they open so late. A bakery should open no later than 7 unless it's focused on just pies and cakes, but if you want to actually draw the people who work you need to be open prior to people leaving for work. Unfortunately I will never eat here because I fall into the category of a working person.

Love their chicken pot pie! Won’t go anywhere else. Love their dessert pies!

I had got their blackberry toasties (pop tarts basically) and a piece of their bumble berry pie. Both were incredible, loads of flavor but not overly sweet. I'm much more salty over sweet and these have the perfect balance. They also last well in the fridge. A quick warming in the air fryer or microwave and they're just as good as the day you got them. The store itself is adorable and clean. Highly recommend!! I will be returning.

Got a morning pastry haul as side quest as part of a quest for the best blueberry pie in the Portland area. Two Fat Cats was an easy contender based on Yelp review strength.Pastries:We sampled the blueberry muffin, scone, and a cinnamon roll. All three were tasty but disappointing in their own ways. The muffin lacked body BUT was packed with blueberries. The cinnamon roll lacked the strong cinnamon base and the icing was very sweet -- ostensibly to offset the kind of not great base bun. ... and the scone was just kind of... forgettable.I mean look. We ate them but Two Fat Cats has a number of rave "best bakery in Portland" kind of ratings. Blueberry pie:The pie was loose (read: not set) and the crust was brown on the edges but unfortunately not fully cooked in the center and brown on the bottom so it was served as-is rather than trying to rebake it.The filling was very sweet. This would be (read: will be) very tasty with a vanilla bean ice cream. The crust was very tasty around the edges. The pie was definitely the highlight and tasty, albeit runny and sweeter than our tastes. Won't be winning best blueberry pie, but made a fine mid week dessert.

Picked up some whoopie pies and some tarts to have on the beach with my mother for her birthday and was extremely pleased! Tasty and light. Made her day and mine!!

Really enjoyed the pies at the bakery. Tried the Strawberry Rhubarb pie which was just the perfect combination of sweet and tart. Of course we also had to try the Wild Maine Blueberry Pie. Personally I found that quite sweet. But the star of the show was the Key Lime Pie (not pictured) which was like biting into a slice of heaven. Even the staff was super sweet and friendly.

Quaint coffee shop with fast, friendly service. Stopped in for an iced coffee and the spinach scramble. Both were delish; took an awesome ginger cookie for the road and now I’m wishing I’d gotten more.

Best pies in Portland. Okay, maybe in all of New England! I love the sweet ones, and the pot pies are awesome too!

Great blueberry pie and the Figgy Piggy pastry was heavenly.

I specifically wanted to visit this bakery all the way from San Antonio and I was not disappointed. The blueberry pie is perfect and I love the cats theme. I order a pie every year for Thanksgiving.

The best whoopie pie we have had in Portland (and we've tried a lot)!

We ordered a cake from here and it was almost inedible. I just do not understand the deal with why people would recommend this place. The cake was picked up on time but tasted stale, frosting tasted like Crisco maybe? We went in and looked around and everything looked old fashioned but not in a good way and kind of sad. I'm sorry! I really hope they are able to improve but I do not get it. I would never waste the money to order a cake there again, we didn't even end up eating it.
