Really had some delish desserts and loved the owners/operators! Genuine people out to serve up some fantastic fresh and hand crafted ice cream and shaved ice! We really felt welcomed and taken care of. Creamy vanilla ice cream. Fruit flavors were dynamite.
So different but great! Worth a try, you won't be disappointed.

I’m a little sad I’ve never heard of this place before. Had some absolutely killer ice cream the shaved ice cap was a unique experience that I haven’t had before. I’m excited to come back and try more flavors. The staff are so kind and welcoming. The best snow cone ever. The banana ice cream is my favorite when they have it and so far we had not found a flavor for the icee we did not love. Everyone working there is incredibly nice!

This place serves REAL shaved ice. They serve Hawaiian quality shaved ice in Portland and it's amazing! They use real fruit for their ingredients with no artificial syrup.The owners were extraordinary kind and helpful from the moment we walked in until the moment we left.My wife and I cannot recommend this place enough!

I love the Concord grape and peanut butter with crushed chips. Wonderful couple that owns this is always helpful, grateful for business and welcoming. It’s my go to dessert in Portland and I crave it when I’m out of town.Parking: It’s a side st with street parking, and lots near by.

Fantastic! So much more than a snow cone. I had a cookies and cream with cinnamon toast ice cream. The creation was greater than the sum of its parts, and was served up by staff who were clearly passionate about what they were doing.

I have only one small complaint about this place. We just got back from 10 wonderful days on Kauai. The only disappointment over there was that Zephyr ice basically ruined Hawaiian shave ice for us, because none of the heralded shops on the island came even close. Not just me saying that - a family of six, in total agreement.Seriously - this is the best dessert to be had in the region, and maybe the best representative of shave ice on the planet.Also: the couple that runs Zephyr Ice are the nicest people in the history of people.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while and am so glad I finally had the chance! It's not a hard snow cone exactly, but fluffy light shaved ice with creamy ice cream underneath. The syrups you can pick and choose from are all homemade - I can personally say the strawberry and banana were delicious. I also got the snow cap (sweetened condensed milk) and toasted coconut on top. My husband got the chocolatey special one with pretzels and caramel, which he devoured. The staff were also friendly and inviting, answering all my questions. I only wish I got to visit Portland more often!
