I went for the uni and wasn't disappointed! The shashimi was wonderful as well. The attitude of the servers was very positive and attentive. Food was served at the appropriate times and was at the correct temps. It's a fun place in a reawakening part of Rockland. I thoroughly enjoy the food, ambiance, and service of Suzukis - keep visiting for special occasions several times a year. All of the sushi is fresh and locally caught which I appreciate. My favorite thing is the omakase for two where the chef creates a custom plate based on the fish that is fresh and in season. Drinks at Suzuki are also good as it has a wide array of saki and wine to choose from.

My husband Jeff and I arrived without a reservation but even though it is a small place they were able to seat us. We had wonderful authentic Japanese meal.
