We had a fabulous meal at The Chef and Gardener. It is such a cute place....decorated very nicely. We were greeted immediately. The choices on the menu were hard to chose from....but the two meals we chose were OUTSTANDING. We had to try 2 different desserts which were also incredible. We Will Be Back!!

We dined early on a cold winter evening and we were the only couple there at the time. The service was good -- perhaps too good. We received our salads within minutes of being served our drinks, giving us no time to enjoy the drinks. Then, the entree arrived before we finished our salads (and our drinks). We received attentive service, but felt rushed. Nevertheless, we like this restaurant and will certainly return.

The food was good. The atmosphere wants to be high class, but fails. Would be better if it was priced moderately and didn't try to cater to a higher class diner. I expected either the best food, or the best atmosphere, or both for this price. Neither was exceptional.

First time to this restaurant with a couple of friends. We had a hard time finding it in the dark, but once inside we were met with friendly staff and a small but nice wine list. Dinner was excellent and they had a few interesting specials as well. All 4 of us enjoyed our meals and said we would be happy to return!

My husband and I have visited Chef and Gardener many times and have always had a great meal with friendly service and nice atmosphere. Everyone is so friendly and there is a nice variety of options and specials are different each time.

The food was amazing, and our service was great! The unique, handcrafted drinks were very refreshing and satisfying. The space is small, but it makes for a relaxing cozy atmosphere. The food is made with delicious local ingredients, and the desserts are phenomenal. Highly recommend for a nice night out with a loved one or with a couple of close friends. Make sure you make a reservation, because there is not a lot of space, but the online reservation app makes setting up a reservation time very easy!!

Were it not for OpenTable we would not have discovered this place- and we're so glad we did. We're rather serious ‘foodies' who have pretty much traveled the globe, so we're not easily impressed. C&G was excellent and we definitely will return!
I have been here a number of times and have always had great service, wonderful food, and a nice atmosphere. In the summer we have sat outside which is nice and in the winter the inside is small and cozy but quiet. Perfect for a casual dinner out or to celebrate a special occasion.

Restaurant was recommended by a friend. Food was very good with creative options not the standard. I suspect it would be even better in the summer months with more local fruits and vegetables in season. We'll definitely return

The service was very good, but the food was just good. We cannot eat garlic, so substituted spinach for the potatoes & vegetables. Besides a high upcharge, there was more salt than spinach. Overall, would not recommend

We were so pleased with our experience. The waitstaff was tremendous, personal, and helpful in making the best food decisions. The specials were abundant amazing as well as the regular menu. The waitstaff was very knowledgable about all the food and the preparation. I have multiple food restrictions and they bent over backwards to accommodate me. I can't wait to go back!

Love this place - a great option for a nice meal out and better value than in some of the more touristy areas nearby. We eat here frequently during the tourist season. Lots of vegetarian and gluten free options, if that is your thing, if not, make sure to try the duck and the osso bucco!
