Local spot with good ramen. We ordered the Salmon Lover Dinner Combo, advertised as three items: spicy salmon, salmon sushi, and chef's choice. Disappointed to see the "chef's choice" was a single piece of shrimp. Didn't feel like good value for $22 when we could have gotten the other two components for around $8 each, meaning the shrimp was like $6? For one shrimp? We brought this up to the server, who didn't really say or offer anything. Atmosphere needs some help, floors are always sticky, stains on the ceiling, just kind of a dirty vibe overall. Again, the ramen is very good, and if that's what you are looking for you will be pleased.

Sushi was pretty good but nothing to rave about. The establishment was pretty dirty. You could see dead bugs in the light fixtures, on the windowsill (along with spider webs), and on the floor. We also saw two spiders crawling by our table. Service was mediocre and slow.

I had the ramen, which is why I went specifically, the noodles are factory made and they are missing much of what make a good ramen... good ramen. The pork is shredded and chashu is not even on the menu. There are no additions to order and the portions is just a bit on the small side. Really just a bit, it needs more noodles. Also an egg is extra when it really should just be part of the dish for an extra $1 or whatever makes it fiscally viable. Now the good stuff the spicy pork broth was surprising good if lacking in umami and there is roasted cabbage leaves that really fills in the overall flavor.

I want to preface this by saying that if you're considering going, you should!I decided to be adventurous and try something new, so I had a deep fried California roll. Long story short, anything in the realm of sushi should NOT be deep fried. It was anything but appetizing. The rice around the sushi was deep fried, not the fish. My girlfriend got a vegetarian roll, and loved it. I sampled and I agree that it was delicious! I have tried the sushi from here by friends giving me some considering UNE is near by. Usually, it's delicious.Dining in for the first time my expectations were high, considering they make good food. I regret to report that the interior of this restaurant is sub-par at best. Cheap decorations that are plastic. Above all else, it is quite dirty. This was unsettling to me because I prefer my food to come from a spotless origin. The ceiling is a drop-in with the regular tiles. This normally wouldn't bother me, however many of the tiles are stained from water leaks. My glass had some smudges on it.Service was surprisingly sub-par. Service is quite important to me, and will make or break my visit. I was served with a smile and they were nice to us. However, the organization was sporadic. In the 40 minutes total I spent in the restaurant, my table was incorrectly served twice. The two tables surrounding me were also incorrectly served as well. This may be a minute detail for some of you, but I like service to be polished around the edges.All in all, decent little sushi joint. 4 stars for food, 3 stars for service and 1 star for atmosphere. Average of 4 star. If you decide to dine here, get take out as dining in is not worth your time.
