I’ve been going to Otto’s since they opened their first location on congress st in Portland, I frequented both locations in Portland for years. I have dined at the Lynnfield, MA location. Recently dined in the Biddeford location. The service and food has always been fantastic. Last night was our first time dining at the Saco location and I just want to put my experience out there and hopes that someone will take it without negativity.We were sat near the counter near the pickup door, I understand there is customers coming in and out to get their food, but burrrrr. I shuttered every time that door opened because the wind would hit my legs. I received my salad before my drinks, had to ask to make sure they were coming, when I ordered my drink I also asked for a water, which I never received. We got our food in a timely manner and it was great, yet my husband had to get up in the middle of our dinner and go up to our waitress at the counter to order 1 more round of drinks, who her and 2 other female employees were on their mobile devices, one clearly taking selfies. It’s a laid back atmosphere, but to not even bother to check on your tables or pay any attention rubbed me the wrong way. When my husband ordered the round of drinks, she brought our check instead. We had to have her print off another for the drinks we ordered, we weren’t even finished eating but she asked if we wanted to box up our food, at this point I agreed just because I wasn’t finding it relaxing on a child free, date night on Friday.Not coming from a negative place, and I hardly write reviews, but maybe some suggestions that management could improve on. We watched a couple walk out because they were ignored for 10 minutes. Again, the food was amazing as always, but I think the seating should be fixed a little so Patrons aren’t freezing on the end near the door, and the waitresses could use a little more direction.

Double dough cheese pizza from Otto is my number one. The atmosphere is meh, the service is as good as any other place, but their pizza is fantastic. Prices aren’t too shabby either. 10/10 would recommend.

The pizza is always great but more often than not I have an issue when picking my order up. Pizza had been burnt twice after waiting over and hour to pick my food up just to be told I need to wait 10 more minutes to re cook my pizza. Last time I will be ordering out at this location.
I feel awful for saying anything bad because I never had Otto or even heard of them. I won a $50 gift card from a raffle, and I was told nothing but the best the best the best?I relocated from Bangor, to work in South Portland. So this past Monday night, I swung in to check out the menu....I was slightly confused by it after being told they had anything I could think of......? Not the case. I got 2 orders of meatballs....can't mess those up. I burned up the gift card on large spicy pulled pork with it's added items. Long story short, filled up on meatballs and packed up the pizza in fridge. I warmed up half the pizza last night after work and that's where I immediately was disgusted with it. I know it says spicy, but that was overkill and only heat..... sadly, I don't trust the food now but I'd love to have a few brews sometime. Looks chill. I still have the other half in my fridge and will probably use it as an animal repellent out back. If it was busy, I'd understand....but it was only employees at end of the night.... could've put some effort in proving to me that everyone was right... Parking: Don't think parking is ever an issue

Stopped in for a quick slice before a movie. While eating the pizza on the sidewalk I was listening to a conversation between friends. One gentleman seemed to be navigating a relationship change. The other was listening, empathizing, and offering simple advice.Parking: There is plenty of free parking in the parking lot. Did I mention that it was free?

Was visiting family in Maine and stopped at OTTO in Saco for a bite of dinner before the final leg of my journey. Alice?/Alex? behind the bar was super-friendly and attentive despite covering much of the restaurant as well as the bar (it wasn't that busy). She made me an excellent martini and an old fashioned exactly to my liking. I had their white pizza with mushrooms, bacon, and vidalia onions. Delish! The space itself is a bit "corporate," but that's to be expected when you're attached to an IMax theater and across the street from Fun Town. Despite that, excellent food and excellent service.
