I went there because of their reviews well I got there and both myself and my brother are disabled so we went in just to find out that they are not letting dine in they all saw the two of us cripple and one of us was having some trouble getting into the building they looked right at us and then they said no dinning in just delivery or takeout they wouldn't even let us sit down to eat and I asked why they said it is just easier for us I didn't say anything else but they were very disrespectful and the food was sub par ?? I wouldn't be returning never

EDIT:11/1/23:Well, I SERIOUSLY hate to do this, because we have been faithful tto this place since we moved here in 1999... and even before that when they hadA place in Saxonville, MASS!! But... this is the second time in a row we were disappointed in our food. I never mentioned the first time because anyone can have a bad night. Our grinders were VERY DRY and something is just a little "off" very dry, no flavor... just not the same quality we always got before. I hope this isn't a permanent deal.Here is my original excellent rating post... if anyone else that tells you they know how to make "an Italian grinder" they're lying!! THIS lS THE ONLY PLACE IN MAINE WHO DOES!! They start off with an italian crusty sub roll... Add the meats, peppers, onion, and finally, the oil that bring the tastes together for a party in your mouth!! If you "KNOW ITALIAN"... you know that these should be TOASTED. This is where everyone else gets a FAIL!!! You can ask for well-done and it'll be extra crispy!! Now... THAT'S ITALIAN!! The meatball subs/grinders are yummy too! Note to SanfordHouseOfPizza... please go back to your original grinders. Maybe I just didn't get enough oil?? THANK YOU FOR MANY YEARS OF YUMMY MEALS!!!Ok... I love the above... But my recent discovery there has got to be my very favorite... Their CHICKEN PARM AND SPAGHETTI SMOTHERED IN CHEESE SERVED WITH A PlECE OF GARLIC BREAD (or as hubby likes it... Just plain bread).! Now don't let the container fool you; It SEEMS SMALL but let me tell you, l can eat, but l get halfway done (and l am stuffed!) and save the rest for lunch the next day. Who am l kidding... I eat it for BREAKFAST the next day!! Hubby can finish his, but complains about his big gut for 2 days later!! Okay you get the picture.. But wait theres more!! This is my favorite place to go for pizza in the area. I love their extra cheese pizza. I have ordered a sub from them as well and it was also good but i normally stick with the pizza. Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for good pizza. Just a heads up for anyone who has never been here, they don't have dine in, just take out or delivery.

The house of pizza has good tasting food. However, if you can get through the brutal attitudes of the people that work there, you might be able to enjoy your meal. The staff can be rude, condescending, and pushy.
