I'm an ice cream lover, and this place was there as I was traveling. I had a maple walnut in a waffle cone. Delicious hard serve ice cream! It satisfied my craving!

First time playing mini golf here, been eating their ice cream for years. Mini golf Pros: 1) shade. Some of the other courses in the area have no shade and this course has some which was nice on this hot day. The course is also on a hill/ridge and we had a nice breeze. 2) fun course. There are some water features and obstacles Needs improvement: 1) better signage for parking. We ended up parking behind the playground and walking through the grass to the club house, which was fine for us. Then we noticed the other driveway to the parking lot. I have an aunt in a wheelchair and if she had been with us, it would have been easier to park closer but there were no signs pointing us to the other lot. 2) the course needs some love. Pressure wash the walkways and pavers, pull some weeds, cut back some of the bushes and trees, take a blower to some of the leaves that have fallen in the course. We tried to get some BBQ after but it was Sunday and (we were told and the street/doors signs say) they’re only open Friday night and Saturday night for bbq so we took a take out menu. The takeout menu states they only offer bbq on Saturday so there are some inconsistencies that could be confusing. There are signs that say there is a driving range as well but we couldn’t see it and not sure if it still exists. Overall, this place used to be a local hidden gem but needs some love and new life breathed into it.
It is a beautiful place. I had a scoop of creamy ginger ice cream on a cake cone. It was a delightful experience.

Hands down, Shaw's Ridge Farm has some of the best homemade ice cream in York County, Maine. Definitely try Coal Dust ... coffee with gigantic chocolate chip!

Something is wrong this year. The quality has been cut in a major way. I've had ice one half gallon and the Oreo ice cream is basically just vanilla now; hardly any cookies at all. Sad to say if this is the direction they're going I won't be back. I've been a customer for 28 years.--OLD--Amazing ice cream -- that's the real reason to come here. It's expensive but worth it.Indoor seating is very limited but outdoors is a large field with more than enough room. Lots of flowers make for a lovely atmosphere.If you come for the BBQ you'll probably be disappointed, but isn't so bad as to avoid completely. This is an ice cream place though, first and foremost.

Had the combo plate with beans and corn bread. The ribs were very dry, the chicken and pulled pork were like leftover heated up. Very awful. Cornbread was horrible too. And the "so called Carolina BBQ sauce was like pure vinegar. I used to live in the south and this WAS NOT the Carolina sauce I've had. What a waste of 50.00 for two tiny dried out meals. . NEVER AGAIN.
