Great experience once again with this butcher!The gentleman (Rob?) behind the counter took his time helping me, and (by extension) guiding me to what I believe to be the best dang rack of ribs I have ever had… Slow roasted to perfection… wow…I will definitely be back, thank you Rob!!

Butcher shop prices, Walmart quality, but at least I've never bought rotten meat from Walmart. Been there twice, both times got meat that was turning or just plain bad. Just yesterday we got chicken wings with a sell by date two days away (that should be telling in and of itself) brought them home and opened the package to season them for tomorrow and it stunk up the house, completely rotten.

The Great East Butcher Shop is such a hidden gem and SO delicious! Their sandwiches are insanely good (shaved steak is my favorite), and their meats are noticeably better than the meat you get at your grocery store. New England steak tips are my favorite, as well as the chicken wings. I love that there's always a selection of prepared foods to choose from, too (marinated asparagus, green beans, brussel sprouts, potato salads, etc...). The huge selection of local beers and other food/gift products is super fun, too. I just love this place!

The gentleman in the store that morning was very kind and helpful and seemed to be the only one there but was able to help myself and another person quickly. He also didn't hesitate to help when I could not find what was I was looking for and he seemed happy to go look out back for what I wanted. Best service I've seen in a long time.
