I ordered three rolls, a classic California, beef tataki, and the dynamite roll.Placed my takeout order in person, and it was ready quickly within 10-15 minutes. Any modifications I requested were adhered to, and the rolls themselves taste fresh, and really good. Can’t wait to try more!

The coconut shrimp with broccoli is phenomenal. They devein the shrimp =) The shrimp has flavor unlike most restaurants in Maine. Spring rolls are great. The freshness of the food is superb. I eat my food seperately so the pictures are the ingredients of the meal minus the broccoli and pineapple which I ate before photographing. Just imagine it altogether. =)

It's 1 am and I have one thing to get off of my chest. kirin makes the BEST sushi i have ever had the pleasure and honor of indulging in. I think about the sushi when i'm daydreaming in the shower, when i'm in the middle of life altering conversations, at weddings, at funerals, when i'm with my lover, when i've just eaten the most delectable treat; the thought plaguing the back of my mind... the one thing i know to be true... is that no earthly pleasures will ever come close to the peace and satisfaction that this sushi gives me.I've tried other places in hopes for something remotely close so so many times to no avail, so i've come to the conclusion that a magical sushi fairy lives in kirins kitchen and sprinkles its magic into this sushi and whispers sweet nothings into the chefs ear while they prepare it, therefore there is no way anything could ever replicate that pure magic, and i am okay with that.

Just tried Kirin for the first time a couple weeks ago and have ordered quite a few times since! Best sushi and fried rice in the area. Only a couple tables inside but it’s a nice quiet little place to hang while eating.

Consistently delicious! There is soooo much food, even in the lunch portions - enough for 2-3 meals. The staff is always friendly and so fast. Try it - you won't be disappointed!
Hibachi is always great, and this place has probably the best chicken fingers of any asian restaurant I’ve been to in Maine. We ♥️ Kirin.

My coworkers and I order Kirin every week. Orders are always correct, always fresh and taste great. The workers a super kind even when it’s busy. They have a great selection of items and specials. Also, we love the goons. Kirin forever.
Huge sushi fan as you can tell from my reviews, so was really looking forward to giving this place a shot as the reviews seemed solid, so I decided to give it a go via door dash, but unfortunately it was a bust for me as the sushi rice was just not up to par and the rolls had little to no flavor and just were not very appetizing at all.One of the few times I actually failed to finish my sushi, as it just didn't deliver in terms of taste as it is hard to get by sushi rice that is poor quality as it completely destroys the flavor of the rolls.Seems like others had better experiences than I did, so maybe they had an off night, maybe it was because I went the door dash route, who knows, but unfortunately can't recommend them as the execution just was not there in terms of the quality of the sushi rolls.
