I adore this little establishment, and have done so since I was a small child. Yes it does hold some nostalgia for me, of course, but it's more than that. While they do have items made by others, a lot of their candy in the display case is homemade. They have some of the best chocolates I've ever had. Their peanut butter cups are ahhhhmazing! It's like a peanut butter sandwich, with chocolate ends ! They have the best almond butter crunch I've ever had. They have white chocolate almond bark, that I make the trip to Scarborough for alone! It's so dang good. My mouth waters at the thought of the candy they make here. We always used to stop and see Lenny while my dad bought chocolates for mom's birthday, anniversary, or for the holidays. I sure miss Neccos peach blossoms, but no worries, Len Libby's has some as well. I will say they are a tad different, but still crunch peanut butter wrapped in peach candy! The ladies that work the register, fudge counter and candy counter are always polite and sweet. Helpful but not a buzzing nat. If you've never been in, check them out. I will say that they are expensive candies. 28.99lb for their by the pound candy. However it's very very good candy. They sell a ton of other things, and Maine items as well.

We went nuts here buying way too much chocolate and other sweets but they're oh so good! The moment you step into Len Libby Candies, you are greeted by the warm aroma of chocolate and their exceptional and impressive variety of chocolates. The handcrafted chocolates are made with care and attention to detail, resulting in a rich taste that sets them apart. The quality of ingredients is evident, and each piece is a testament to the craftsmanship that has been honed over generations. In addition to chocolates, they offer a diverse range of sweets, including fudge, truffles, caramels, and seasonal treats. I had some kind of caramel-y candy made from a 200 year old recipe that was absolutely addicting. This charming candy store has high-quality chocolates, friendly service, and unique offerings, making it a must-visit destination for sweet enthusiasts. And yes, there’s a cool chocolate moose and bear.

It's chocolate. I went here as a child. It's been around forever. I thought it was expensive but to be fair shopping in a chocolate shop isn't something I do often so it's probably on average price with other similar shops. I bought Christmas gifts here, so I didn't eat the chocolate, but my family loved it, and my son-in-law is a chocolate fanatic.

Feels like magic every time I go and it's always great to see a life size chocolate moose!Wheelchair accessibility: Accessable
Very disappointed about the turtles. They no longer put chocolate on bottom. Cashews fall off - completely changes the taste. I’ll be going to Haven’s from now on. So cheap to do that - still costs a fortune.

If you never met Lenny you should. Don't worry he is gelded. Fudge is great . Not everything in there is made in house.
I was in need of homemade salt water taffy to bring down to Florida. They did not disappoint. The taffy was delicious and fresh

Great candy. The fudge is amongst the best I've tasted and the Bagor Taffy is terrific.A must stop if you're nearby if for no other reason than to see the chocolate moose.

Right off Rt1, so you absolutely can't miss this one! They have a massive chocolate moose, as well as other creatures to look at, so you have to stop in at least once! The chocolates are good, especially the truffles. There is always someone greeting you with samples to try, which is always nice as well.Definitely a fun place to stop if you are in the area, and a prime location!
