Always a good breakfast with their everything bagel with chive cream cheese I enjoy grabbing one of the newspapers by the door and nibbling on my bagel in this no frills but very welcoming joint.
Good New York style deli bagels in Maine. Wide selection of bagel varieties and breakfast and or lunch sandwich options. Corned beef, cheese, and egg breakfast sandwich is a good option. Coffee is strong and plenty of choices to choose from.

The Scarborough Mr. Bagel has had a name change recently and is now Maine Bagel. I have always enjoyed Mr. Bagel bagels but I have to say I think I like the Maine Bagel bagels better. I prefer a softer bagel, which these are. The store is still bright and friendly and the owner works the counter along with his employees, which is nice to see.
