Thank you for making my FIRST AND SECOND EXPERIENCE at The Maine Bagel so memorable!After sharing that today was my first time at The Maine Bagel, your warmth and inviting tone was well received at 7:00 AM on a cold Saturday morning. You were patient when I finally decided on my choices and answered all of my questions. When I went to pay, you added a personal touch that made me feel like I have known you for years. The Maine Bagel is an excellent local establishment, with the highest quality quick service breakfast around. The other day, there was a mistake with my order. I didn’t realize until I was out of town. I called and asked if I could go back and switch my bagel out for the correct one when I headed that way later in the day. They were friendly, apologetic, and they made it right for me. I cannot speak highly enough about this business! Thank you - to the team at Maine Bagel. Matty from Brooklyn here. Not only is this the best bagel in the Portland area, it’s one of the best bagels in the world. Fantastic. The way they used to be, before every place in nyc started making oversized monstrosities with no hole.Delicious & light bagels, rich cream cheese, and solid Nova Scotia lox. I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. 4realz chief!

Food and drinks here are amazing. It’s a little concerning how long it takes to wait in their drive through line, the situation is a little scary because cars wait in the road to drive in. Maybe a walk in option would help? I love this place and will keep coming back regardless, just make sure you allow yourself lots of time when visiting!

As a New Yorker I am very particular on bagels. Although I still say NY bagels are the best, the bagel sandwich I had from here was very good. The lox, cream cheess, tomatoes, were so fresh and delicious. The employee I spoke to was so friendly and we chatted for 5 minutes. It really made the experience so memorable and to be honest fun!They do not let you inside here. It is drive thru or online pickup only. I was greatful to read that before I left Portland. I placed my order online and called when I arrived. Service was great and easy.Highly recommend!
