Every time I go to a new city I try to find a nice place to have a cigar and relax. This place is JUST the spot for that. You can have coffee or liquors depending on what you want with your cigar, and the people are lovely. Wonderful atmosphere and the perfect way to kick off a vacation.

Walked into an establishment run by arrogant people. I asked for a specific cigar, and I was told they were trash cigars and tried to sell me $30 cigars I didn't want. That's not running a business that's being foolish. Would not recommend this shop to my worst enemy. Terrible place.

Very cigar oriented, and I was looking for pipes and pipe products. They did have a case full of overpriced pipes and a smattering of aromatic “house blends” that I’m pretty sure are relabeled Lane products. Fox News on the TV. Overall not what I was looking for. That being said, the other patrons were loudly and obviously enjoying their cigars and food, and the staff were friendly, so if that IS what you’re looking for then I imagine this place would be a spot for you to check out.

I have great interactions with customers and staff until Last night. I had a work staff discimnate,and embarrase me yesterday afternoon.Someone came in for his VERY FOR TIME last evening, he started a conversation with me. Next thing I know Chelsea comes over and A loud voice that everyone within earshot could hear..."Dannette, YOU NO BOTHERING CUSTOMERS ARE YOU!"She said Tom told her that I bother customers and have made others leave for having a conversation with them.The other Regulars at the Bar told me I did nothing wrong....I don't understand why she was like that or if Tom really said those things about me but I will be finding out as I do LOVE this place. Ali is a great man and I have never had a problem before. People are polite and if I am talking to much they say Im watching this show or I'm doing my work here and can't chat right now and I'm totally fine with Constructive Criticism.

Nice little spot, friendly service, good food, draft beers, port wine available, decent selection of Cigars, plenty of seating. Only negative, though small is the fact that they close at 7pm. Cabalash is one of the few Cigar lounges in the area, good option for hanging out and meeting with friends. Would be nice if they had TVs or a little music but aside from that I enjoyed my visit, it was time well spent.

It's a lot of fun here, even if you come alone and don't know anyone, you won't be bored here. Very friendly staff. This is a good place to spend your free time. And most importantly, this is one of the very rare places where you can sit and smoke a cigar or cigarettes over a cup of coffee or a glass of beer without going outside. So for smokers, this is the most suitable place to relax.

Nice lounge, friendly people, plenty of space to smoke a cigar with plenty of seating. Decent ventilation. Cutters available. Matches available. No TVs. I didn't ask about wifi. Drink menu. Food menu. All good. So why a 4-star rating and not 5? Their humidor though small is well-stocked with some nice sticks and some harder to find items like Pinks. My only issue is with how tight and cramped the humidor is. I think they could stock fewer cigars and have a little more space in there without losing quality sticks. A minor complaint but Yelp doesn't let you award half stars. On a 10-point scale I'd give it a solid 9! I will return the next time I'm in town.

Best cigar bar in Maine...Owner Ali is a gracious host...can get a beer or wine and smoke a stogie inside while its freezing outside...awesome idea...great selection of cigars...don't forget the jewelled rice when you order food...Ali has a great American success story...arrived with very little and built a successful business
