We just paid $28 for 4 overcooked scallops and a small piece of haddock and fries. Waited 40mins and it was cold, chewy and greasy. Lesson learned, extremely disappointed. Save your money.

A few days ago, my teenage son and I ate at Docks Seafood for a late lunch. We were thoroughly pleased with our entire experience and had to share!I ordered the haddock sandwich and fries. Yum! Yum! My son ordered the haddock nuggets and fries. We both loved our meals. Everything came out fresh, flavorful and hot. I ate every single thing on my plate. The piece of haddock was huge and served on a lightly toasted bun. It was pure bliss. Their homemade tarter sauce goes perfectly with their seafood. I just couldn't stop eating their french fries. They were perfectly salted.My son loved his haddock nuggets. It's always great to see him eat food that he loves. Our waitress was awesome and she was heavily rewarded for all her awesomeness.We can't wait to go back to Docks Seafood. We left with a baked item for dessert because we were too full from our meal to eat anymore. It was a whoopie pie. Soooo good!Also, the owner came to our table to talk to us and he was super sweet. ?Kid-friendliness: My two kiddos (ages 12 and 15) love the menu options. There's something for everyone.

We were here 5 years ago. It felt nostalgic when we stumbled upon the same restaurant again by chance! The food is still tasty. The service is still great.This restaurant is off the beaten path. So it’s not touristy rather it feels where the locals enjoy their seafood.We ordered the lobster rolls (doh..) the haddock Ruben and the haddock tacos. For starters we got the steamer and the muscles. The muscles are so plum and juicy! Absolutely amazing.

Very disappointed in the food…poor quality, cold, and overpriced. We were on a road and excited to try a new place. We strongly advise against Dock’s Seafood. Started with clam chowder that was room temp. Our meal took a long time to come out and it was cold and poor quality. $30 for stuffed haddock that was not worth $10. We also got the blackened haddock taco. The seasoning was so spicy, it was not edible. Overall very dissatisfied with the food. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Best haddock reuben I've had. Chowder was delicious and my picky daughter loved the mac 'n cheese. The service was great, Janessa was really good. I'm glad I chose this place when I googled "fried seafood near me" while visiting Portland. I'll be back.

Had a really nice lunch - bacon wrapped scallops and seafood chowder. The bacon was crispy but the scallops were cooked beautifully and the chowder was super tasty. It really hit the spot after a winter hike. I was lucky it was super slow today and service was quick, efficient and friendly!

Whenever I visit Maine, I make it a point to visit this establishment. The fish and chips are great. I was disappointed two weeks ago when I came to the restaurant and found it closed. Check hours before you go. This establishment is closed on Monday and Tuesday. I will be returning to this establishment again. I'll Be Back!!!

First timers here and we'll def be back! Greeted immediately and seated quickly. We had a cup of clam chowder and a cup of seafood chowder. BOTH were excellent and the perfect starter on a cold Maine day. Then we moved on to the haddock nuggets and blackened tacos. Super fresh and super tasty....and their french fries were spectacular! Give Dock's a try....you'll be glad you did.
