Ordered by phone. Never got cornbread promised.special of day was never relayed by person taking order which we would have taken. Wrote email and got no response. Don’t seem to care. Meat was excellent but ran out of pulled pork. At a bbq place?

We have ordered take out a couple of times. The first time was okay but forgettable food. The second time was really awful. I ordered the brisket sandwich. The bun was cold and stale. The brisket was dry and had a funny taste to it, as if the meat had gone bad. I wish this place was better, but it is expensive and threw my food away.

This has been a easy dinner staple for us for years. When we visit my parents in South Portland, we always come here - kids can use the old school video game, they offer kids coloring sheets and crayons, they have great local beers, delicious bbq, and always yummy specials. There’s something for everyone. Easy and delicious.

Slamming BBQ. Just happened to pass it on way to lighthouse and park. Definitely glad we came back to dig in here. Cool joint, but it's about the food...and it is awesome!

So loved everything but, you should clean your chalkboard better. I paid $10 more for a sundae than I thought it was at first

Disappointed. Very slow service. Took forever to get food and wasn't too busy. Maybe short staffed? Food priced too high for what you get. As a native texan ..I know my bbq. This isn't close to it. Main reason for rating was value, taste, and service. All subpar. Especially the taste and portion amount for the price.

I hosted a baby shower in the Stevens Ave space. Everything was fantastic. Planning was really easy. There was plenty of space and seating. Food and service were incredible as always. I recommend looking into this space for your next event. Kiersten and Adam were so accommodating and helpful. Thank you for making it easy and special.Dietary restrictions: We had folks who were glutton free. This was a great option to accommodate them and the larger group.

Delicious food. It's very cold inside the restaurant in the winter so west a coat. It's also a little pricey, but again, food was great and staff was kind.

Elsmere used to be a sure thing for a great meal, but my last few orders were nearly inedible. The pulled pork was so dry and chewy, and it tasted old almost fishy. The ceasar salad had old brown lettuce and 2 croutons. Definitely not worth the $$$

Excellent service and great bbq meals. Try the 3 Meats platter. Beer on tap!

Decent BBQ place...we just dropped by as it was near the park (lighthouse) we went to. The food was good...we liked the brisket and the Mac and Cheese was great. Oh, the cornbread (which I normally do not like) was so soft, sweet and fluffy!

We were very disappointed in our recent take out order on 12/31/23 5pm. It was clear that the Ribs and Brisket were yesterday’s reheated. ( Dry and poor taste) Very surprised to receive the poor quality.
