I was in the mood for fried chicken one afternoon and I was feeling sort of cheeky so I simply googled "fried chicken near me" without expecting much because I wasn't aware of anything good in my area. Lo and behold, Fried on Gai came up as a result. I had never heard of this. I checked out their website and realized that it's sort of a ghost restaurant being run out of Ruby Thai in South Portland. The friend chicken is amazing (Korean style) not that easy to find on this area. So crispy from the outside and the crazy hot sauce is so amazing. Service super friendly.Great atmosphere with the homies.

The wings hold their own to anything in Portland, seriously so good. Atmosphere is so relaxing, and the TV's play clips of Thai street food being made which absolutely rules. Service is also awesome, super efficient and more than friendly. Get the crunchy fried chicken with garlic glaze, it's bananas.
