Again, there was hardly anything to choose from when I got there late morning, but at least I got the last bag of Portuguese rolls. Having spent lots of time in Portugal, the Azores, and Portuguese enclaves like New Bedford MA, I'm very familiar with Portuguese bakeries and cuisine. While this isn't technically a Portuguese bakery, the owner is Portuguese and I'm surprised he doesn't offer Portuguese sweet bread or custard tarts, which I'm sure would be very popular. The Portuguese rolls themselves were good but average, to be honest.

My go-to bakery. Owners are the nicest and everything they sell is really great. Have tried just about every item they offer.

With all the great bakeries in Maine, this is one of the best! I regularly buy their baguettes, focaccia, muffins and cookies. To name a few of my all time favorites! Healthy, natural ingredients all the time, made fresh daily from the master baker. Just put my order in for Xmas!

Their rolls (I forget the name, but they contain canola oil) are the closest to the British morning rolls that I’ve been searching for in my 20 years of living here. Will look to pick some up whenever I’m passing by.

We stopped in one morning during our visit to Cape Elizabeth. We were treated to still warm Portuguese rolls which were delicious! We also tried some danishes and turnovers which were just as great. We returned the next day for another tasting so its safe to say we'll be back.

It wasn't Paris but it was pretty darn good. Staying in a B&B down the street decided to walk down and try it out. Glad I did and I will be back. Fresh, fast, and pleasant service- what more could you ask for?
