The first thing I have to say is that the hostess seating people never looked me in the eye and only spoke to me to ask how many people were in my party. When I thanked her for showing me to my seat, she didn't say a word back. Not a great way to start off. The waitress who served me, however, was fantastic, polite, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu. I got the never-ending soup salad and breadsticks. I used to love this meal but I'm now finding that the soup, particularly the chicken gnocchi, tastes like canned soup. The gnocchi was mushy, there was barely any chicken, and the it was rather bland. If you're looking for a decent experience, this is an okay place but, if you're looking for something a little bit more fresh, go elsewhere.

I had the Italian Trio, and it was fantastic. The service was quick, and the price was fair for Portland. The pasta was cooked perfectly.

Called to place pick up order. Was hung up on twice, put on hold multiple times. I only ordered a kids' meal when I was finally able to. Still took forever to get an order. Then was the missing item. Poorly staffed, take out leaves a lot to be desired. Food is usually good, but the hassle it takes to get it is not worth it.

Olive Garden is a wonderful place to be with family. My sons are very excited and happy to be in such as place.Olive Garden makes feel you are important to them.Parking: You will always find a parkingKid-friendliness: My kids were very excited and happy.
The waitress was excellent! She listened and quickly responded to our requests. We did go at a slower time of day, so that likely helped. But it was a great experience and I'd recommend this place! I had the soup, salad and bread sticks. My friend requested extra veggies in the salad and they did put them in.

Me and my family went to the OG in South Portland for Easter. My husband and I hadn't been there in a long time. It was so disappointing. The service was terrible. The apps and salads/soup came out within a short time. My son's fiancé was given a soup she didn't order and the salad had almost no dressing on it. Once the apps, soups and salads were eaten it was a long time before the meals came out. When they did finally come out, 2 people in our party did not get theirs. Finally after about 15 or so minutes I asked a Mgr to look into where the other two meals were. Also, it was a half hour since we had asked for some drink refills. My husband's chicken was also very dry. The manager was very nice however, the waitress never said a word. No apology or anything!! It was terrible!!

The food is excellent. You can't sit anywhere near the front door, right or left. When the front door opens there is a huge draft that is sucked right in to the dining area.Cold on the customer and the food.
