The BEST place to get seafood in Portland. By far the best lobster roll with a hefty portion and fresh ingredients. The oyster varieties are always exciting, local, and shucked right there in front of you. Tons of different seafood and drink options that perfect for a casual meal or a more involved dinner. Chill and cozy atmosphere with the kindest staff. Such a special place!

The majority of my order was very good. The Uni was not as expected. There were only a couple intact pieces of the row, unlike what the picture shows on the website. There was more bits in pieces of the roe In the order. The scallops were excellent and also the crab meat. I have not tried the lobster meat yet.

I just ordered a variety of things but have only had the day boat scallops as they come to you so fresh within days of being harvested. They were out of this world and probably the best and tastiest scallops I have ever had. They are a wee bit expensive but so worth the money for a small treat in my humble opinion. Anxious to try the rest of the items I got but I will definitely get the day boat scallops during the next season

Excellent value and taste. Favorites were the clams and the lobster bisque. The salmon chowder was okay but a little light in flavor for our taste.Everyone was welcoming and friendly. We knew in advance you come for the food and not the ambience but still enjoyed the atmosphere.

The scallops were excellent although the delivery was not so good had guests come for fresh scallops and they showed up at 8:40 pm very disappointing
We ordered 8 lbs. Cod Filets and 3 lbs Scallops sushi grade, oh my what delicious seafood. So fresh and tasty. Best we have ever ordered online. Arrived when we wanted it. Ice packs still frozen solid. We will be ordering again really soon as almost gone already. Could eat it every day. *****We just received our 2nd order last Friday. Let me tell you if you want fresh seafood order from SoPo Seafood. You will not be disappointed. We ordered 6 lbs. Cod, 6 lbs. Haddock and 5 lbs. Scallops. So delicious. We now have our go to Seafood Supplier. So glad we found you. Everything came well packed and very cold. Ice Packs still frozen. Thank you for the prompt service. You are highly recommended.

Wow. Wow. WOWWW! This is a MUST STOP IN AND EAT place. Maine is the place for seafood for a good reason. It smells like fish when you walk in because it's the first thing you see. They sell fresh fish to take home with you. I ordered the crab melt sandwich and the potato salmon chowder. My boyfriend ordered the hot lobster roll and crab carrot soup. We also had a crab cake. I can't tell you which dish was the best because they are both that good. Even the pickles were fantastic! I live in Florida, and I have been ruined on seafood because there is no way it will ever get any better than Maine. I cannot wait to visit again and stuff my face with crab cake. The two ladies working were a delight and even had a great recommendation for donuts nearby. It was nice to relax and be welcome after a 2 hour drive. I think I'm definitely going to order seafood and have it shipped to Florida!

When it arrived some of the fish was already defrosted in the package. I live in Cambridge MA which is relatively close. It smelled fresh so I ate it anyway. The fish was and is delicious. I'll keep ordering from SoPo but in the future please put in one or two more paks of dry ice. Thank you. John

Incredible. Everything we ate was a 10. Local oysters were super fresh and complex. Bloody Marys were great- smokey, peppery, had just the right amount of horseradish. Smoked trout and shrimp rolls hit the spot- bread was fluffy and buttery. Our server was so sweet and attentive. Will be back ?

We had lunch there and upon entering it appeared to be very appealing. The waiter got my order completely wrong n delivered something I didn't order. They offered to cook what I ordered but that was another wait. The salesman had an attitude with us that was very noticeable. I'll probably not go back.
