Verbena is simply the best. The food is fresh & always yummy, the staff is exceptional, and the atmosphere is quaint and cozy! They offer plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options as well. I always look forward to grabbing lunch at Verbena!Parking: Parking can definitely be tricky due to the many businesses along Ocean Street, but they do have a free parking lot behind the building along E Street as well!

We discovered this sammy when we went vegan for a year but even after not this sandwich is so dang good that we still get it! Make sure to add the sesame sunflower crunch to it too! Verbena is the perfect lunch spot in SoPo when you want something fresh. Everyone that works in there is the sweetest soul and I love all chickens they have in there for decor.

It is tasty, healthy, and friendly, with food that is creative and fairly priced, in a nice casual spot that is charming and pleasant.Melissa, who owns the place, has ties with local farmers, and she is thoughtful about ingredients and packaging, so you can feel good about ordering from here. The menu has the right combination of stable and rotating, with fun specials and different soups and quiches (or you can get creative and add, say, pulled pork to a salad).The sodas, lattes, and other beverages are homemade, exceptional, and modestly priced. Here you can really taste the pumpkin in the seasonal pumpkin spice latte, and there are many other great subtle spice and flavor touches that you will appreciateIn the summer months there are food specials based on what is available -- such as beets or parsnips -- and these dishes always work. It is great place to catch up with a girlfriend. Tin ceilings are not conducive for an intimate conversation, but the food and seating make it great for breakfast or brunch.They do coffee, the way I love it, and that accounts for the 5 stars.

Killing time before I had to go to the airport, I found this place on Yelp. I got the Flat Top Chicken Sandwich, on a wrap with pickles instead of green apple. The sandwich was absolutely phenomenal!! Will definitely be stopping here to pick up food for a flight in the future!!! So delicious!!

This is a nice smallish venue where you can look the owner in the eye and order a breakfast egg bacon bagel....which i did. Excellent.
