We have loved going to this place for a while, but recently have had some unpleasant interactions with one employee. Generally everyone there is lovely, and the beer is great and the view can’t be beat. Also, the pizza is fantastic when the truck is there. There is a man who works there (the owner or the brewer? Not sure) who I have seen referenced in other reviews. He’s not really a customer service oriented person, to say the least, so we try not to interact with him. But tonight, he was a total jerk to us. We brought a friend and his son who were visiting, and had a few rounds of beers while our kids (6, 9 and 10 years old) played games with us and then played on the beach in front of the brewery. When we were leaving, our friend’s son went down to the beach to collect two buoys he had found about 100 yards down the beach from the brewery, as he wanted to take them home. He dragged them up across the parking lot and put them in the back of his dad’s truck. The bartender came running out and told us we couldn’t take them. We said “oh sorry, he found them on the beach so we didn’t realize they belonged here, where do you want us to put them?” At which point this man started yelling across the lot at us. So our friend walked over to him and apologized and explained that his son had found them on the beach. The guy accused his 10 year old son of stealing the buoys off the bar decor, and called our friend “cheap” (?). No amount of explaining would do it, he was unnecessarily aggressive, accusatory, and generally awful as we and the three little boys stood there. It was really unpleasant and just a totally uncalled for response to a misunderstanding with a kid. We left the buoys, of course, and left. And sadly, can’t say we’ll be back soon.

Been coming to Tenants Harbor for 10+ years and never knew of this place. Yesterday, Sunday 6/21/23 was our first visit and we found a new great place to sit and enjoy beverages. Walked in, immediately at the bar the female server (unknown name) welcomed us. Her description of the various beverages was spot on, she knew her stuff. Under a clear blue sky we sat outside and enjoyed the view while enjoying our brews. There were two on my wife's flight that we really enjoyed, so much so that we brought two growlers home with us. Highly recommend, will be back.

Waterman's beach brewery is absolutely amazing, the beer is fantastic, the stout, the polka party and the boat builder brown, were fantastic, everyone is amazing to talk to and the beerista Kelsey is so cool, knows her brews cheers
Great little brewery. Amazing friendly staff and the beers are great and they let you taste. I had the cucumber beer perfect! They have a selection of games and have put in windows creating a warm indoor space with heaters with views for miles over the coast area. Perfect location in winter but also summer to watch the sunset. Friendly customers and a genuinely great place to visit.

Great beer. Great people. Great views.Is there food? Only some deliciously wonderful snacks. Are they open to outside food? Absolutely. Grab some westkeag oysters and chow down with some delicious beer to wash everything down.Or roll like the locals and arrange a huge potluck. Or just savor the beer with one of the best views for miles. You can’t go wrong however you enjoy waterman’s.
