“Friendly service, and a decent beer selection. Really enjoyed the Stogie appetizer. The onion rings were pretty good. Ordered some brisket, but it was over cooked. The smoked rueben sandwich was tasty. Again, the meat was a bit over cooked. Good smokey flavor. Just way too well done. The side salad upgrade is not worth the money, so best to just take what side dish comes with the meal. This place has some fun appetizers and good flavors.“

We have been loyal fans of his food, for decades, when he ran his Beale St. BBQ restaurant in Bath, which sadly no longer exists. He has a a FB page with information about pop up openings - Follow them closely and try to arrive at the beginning of his opening, he sells out FAST! It's a take out spot in Fairfield with plenty of parking given the fact people are picking up their food and leaving. We love everything he serves! literally everything on the menu! St. Louis Ribs, Brisket, Pork Shoulder, Mac and Cheese, Cabbage/Carrot side, Cornbread. So comforting and so delicious. We highly recommend stopping by when he is open.“
“We hired Pete's Pig for our wedding and highly recommend them. The food was amazing and our guests were raving about it. They went out of their way multiple times to make sure everything would be perfect and it was. My husband and I and everyone we spoke to at the wedding mentioned that the coleslaw was by far the best we have ever had. The chicken was everyones favorite but all of the food and desserts were delicious. Guests kept walking up to me to tell me how delicous the meatball hors d'oeuvres were too. Everything was on time, hot and they packed the leftovers for us.The event was perfect and they played a big role in it. I can't thank you enough Peter and Barbara!!“
