Today's amazing lunch was at a fantastic spot, Chef Jacques Crepe and Chowder Wagon. We had clam chowder which was honestly the best I have ever had in my entire life!!! And I'm a New Englander! I love the tender chopped clams and delicately sliced fingerling potatoes and celery in a creamy clam chowder. It was seasoned perfectly. The crepes were just amazing. My spouse was lucky enough to get the last London broil, caramelized onion and horseradish sauce crepe and I had a Montecristo, turkey ham and Swiss crepe, drizzled with Maple syrup!Chef Jacques is a very friendly man with a good sense of humor too. We would recommend this food truck over most other area restaurants!

A must stop if your in the wells/ old orchard area. Jacque is extremely friendly and is an excellent cook. I really enjoyed my strawberry and banana crepe. Eating here is an experience and you won't regret it. I'll be back again the next time I'm in the area.

Chef Jacque kudos to you!! We traveled 1 1/2 hrs because we heard his crepes were worthy of the trip and we now can vouch that they are indeed! We shared a savory monte crisco crepe and finished with a native berry crepe and both were definitely worthy! Next time we come for the chowder! ?

We traveled to Maine for our honeymoon and got both the delicious crepes and the chowder. We went back a second time for the chowder, as the owner told us to come back for it as a wedding present. Made our whole trip ❤️

my sister and I drove an hour and a half, because we heard how good Chef Jacques crêpes were and they weren't lying! Talk about savory the monte Cristo crêpe, made it worth the trip and throw in the Maine berries, crêpe for dessert and we were hooked! Chef Jacque was an absolute delight and these two little French girls will definitely be returning with more sisters, even! kudos to the chef. maybe next time will even try the chowda.

Really cute crepe stand with delicious crepes. I tried the Nutella with fresh strawberries and bananas, and hubby had the good ole originals with cinnamon sugar and butter. We have been coming to Wells for years and have wanted to try this crepe stand. Glad we did! We will be back to try the chowdah no doubt! Thanks to a very hospitable Chef Jacque who made us breakfast this morning ?

“Outstanding!” “Oh my goodness!” “Mmmm..” are just some of the words we said while eating. It was the best seafood chowder I’ve ever had! Hands down. Every bite had a piece of fish, shrimp, etc. Our 1.5 year old daughter had the breakfast crepe with ham. Even she couldn’t stop saying “mmm!” Not only was everything delicious, but it was fresh. The chef owner was so kind and even delivered our food to our car in the pouring rain. The service and food was top notch! We agree that we will be sure to stop here again next time we are in the area.

We live in CA right now, but lived in New England for over 40 years (me over 60). We discovered Chef Jacques on a visit back here 2 years ago, and discovered the best clam chowder, made and served by the nicest man, we've ever had.We visited him in 2021, 2022, and will visit him in 2023.

We stopped here for lunch in 2021 and 2022 on our way to drop our kids off at summer camp. What a great break from driving and such fun food to eat! There are a few picnic tables near the food truck, which are perfect. My husband and I each get one savory crêpe, and then split a sweet one for dessert. According to some other reviews, the owner has been quite rude. That didn't happen to us either time we were there though. There's a porta potty there, too, which was super helpful because we still had a ways to drive. I also noticed that someone said the crêpes are made in the morning and are soggy by the time you get to eat them. In our case both times, the crêpes were made fresh right while I was standing there waiting. Our kids are real stinkers about food, so they brought their own lunch. But Chef Jacques didn't mind that they were eating their own food at his picnic tables with us!We look forward to stopping by again on our way up the Maine coast in summer 2023!

My wife and I randomly stopped here on way back from a hike. It was amazing! The food was excellent and fairly priced. I told Jacques we loved it and he said his formula is "good ingredients and respect for the customer." He even brought our food over to the car because we were feeding our baby while waiting for him to make it.If you're looking for a place to eat, just come here-- you won't regret it :)
